I want to thank all the staff and everyone involved with this surgery. I have received excellent service and cannot fault them. The Doctor even took the time to call me after hours to follow up on an unexpected stay in Hospital.

I am absolutely shocked at some of the reviews. My husband and I have been patient’s of Prince of Wales Surgery for 12 years we have had nothing but BRILLIANT SERVICE from reception, nursing staff and the wonderful Doctors ..we have friends living in other parts of Dorset who would dream of have such a wonderful practice on the doorstep ..for those that complain please give the surgery a brake they are preforming a difficult tasks at difficult times ..we are so so lucky to have The Prince of Wales Surgery here in Dorchester

I would like to say that I cannot rate this surgery highly enough. They are all wonderful doctors & caring & really look after you in every way. Some of their kind words said to me has brought tears to my eyes & I hope that Doctor knows who he is-Dr S. Scott. Dr Robertson is amazing & his patience is never ending. Bless him. The nurses are lovely as is the district nurse, & I now feel this surgery really knows me but I did feel it was a struggle to get there but we have in the end. Thank you all for your care. I believe God put me here for which I am eternally grateful.Take care all & thank you. X

I called the surgery during my lunch break as I was experiencing some complications resulting from a Covid infection. The phone was answered almost immediately and the receptionist was very helpful. I had an appointment with the duty doctor less than 3 hours after my initial call, who was very good and I was prescribed with what I needed to get over the secondary infection. I've never had a problem with this GP surgery.

Before and after covid it's not easy to get an appointment. Staff are hit and miss to the point where serious stress has been caused on more than one occasion. Took a year to get my address and details updated with no apology. Doesn't make difficult times easier basically.
Update: after another stressful ordeal where my family and I complained only to receive the cold shoulder from a nurse and a bored sounding voicemail from the owner we've now left this surgery and joined a mother. Had my first appointment with then today. Its the first time in years I've left an appointment feeling better when I left. If your struggling with the prince of wales please know there's better out there. Look up customer suverus from the past few years.
