Reception staff were lovely and the doctor I saw was helpful, but the accessibility wasn't great - the emergency cord in the toilets (note: there wasn't an accessible toilet in the corridor inscribed with "Toilets") was positioned dangerously (and illegally!) and when my doctor called my name, she did so quietly from down a corridor, and repeated my name with some irate force when I wasn't able to materialise in front of her instantly (I use crutches to walk and clearly shouldn't have had the audacity to try and put them on to get up). The staff are good at the expected demands of their jobs (reception staff being helpful and welcoming versus the doctor being able to provide advice), but other aspects of the visit were slightly lacking, particularly in the accessibility factor.

Just great - I had difficulty breathing and was coughing lots... so needed to see a doctor, quickly. I walked in to a very clean and pleasant environment, spoke to reception - filled out a simple form and then waited. Was there for an hour or so but then went into see the doctor. Very professional and caring - after a thorough, unhurried, examination I received a prescription for the medications I needed... Checked out at reception. All paid for by the NHS! Just brilliant and rapidly improved with the medication I received. A tribute to our health service.

Great service especially over the weekend. Receptionist efficient and after completing my details I waited for a while to be seen. The doctor was friendly and professional. After an examination I was prescribed antibiotics for an infection. Service at Boots was great and was on my way home in no time. So grateful to be able to access medical services over the weekend especially feeling so unwell.

I've always been happy with the service that the walk-in clinic provides, granted sometimes there can be a bit of a wait but if you get there early you have a higher chance of being seen early. It's much better than my GP service and I don't have to spend half an hour on the phone waiting to speak to a surly receptionist. The last time I used the service was for my 15 month child to be seen, we arrived at 8 in the morning and by ten past we'd seen a doctor and been given a prescription. Good service.

I would like to commend the Advanced Practitioners for their superior patient care and thoroughness. My experience with AP Joe Nobody exemplifies this, as his attentiveness led to the accurate diagnosis of my conditions. This is not to diminish the contributions of our physicians and nurses, but to highlight the exceptional work of the Advanced Practitioners. ✌️

I extend my gratitude to the receptionists for their patience and diligence in scheduling my appointments. They are a remarkable team.

THANK YOU AP JOE NOBODY AND THANK YOU PRACTICE PLUS STATION TEAM. 💝💙

I was in a lot of pain because of my knee which was swollen for 4 days and every day was more painful( I really struggled to walk, couldn’t lift a leg even a bit without huge pain , sitting down or standing up caused me unbelievable pain). I was given a strong antyinfamatory medication to reduce pain and reduce inflammation. I was told I need to do ultrasound but the doctor said he will send request to do it to my surgery for the referral to the hospital and said he can’t do it directly which means he can’t request ultrasound himself. I was in so much pain that I said I will go to A&E, he said they will not do Ultrasound for me. It was Saturday, on Monday I chased the doctors of my surgery to do the referral for ultrasound of my knee ( where they keep asking that the doctor should have done it himself) and after my second call to the surgery that day I received text message that I was referred. I phoned hospital and I found out that I have to wait 3-4 weeks for ultrasound as doctor didn’t feel like it was an emergency to do it any quicker. And the lady from hospital said if I am going to be in a lot of pain I should go to A&E and they will do Ultrasound for me to find out what is causing the pain.
So 1 star for the doctor who gave me medication which eased a bit of my pain but mislead me with not booking straight away the ultrasound and saying A&E will not do Ultrasound for me. I do not go to doctors at all so I am not aware of things. But misleading patients especially in extreme pain is for me lacking ethical and professional approach to a patient which he should help and serve care not to be on the way to prolong pain and to solve the issue asap.

I attended this Health Centre after suffering from bronchitis for two weeks, ostensibly in order to obtain some antibiotics to rid myself of the ailment. I am in a customer-facing occupation, which was being impacted by the symptoms of coughing and sneezing all day long. After a wait of about 30 minutes, I was called to see the attending GP, who promptly acceded to my request and prescribed a 1-week course of penicillin (just what I needed!).
Very impressed with the assistance provided by this Health Centre!

This is a great resource, especially taking some of the strain from A&E. sometimes a long wait but my visit yesterday was about a half hour wait. Reception staff have always been helpful and doctors usually kind and reassuring. I’ve only had one middling experience. I always take reading material, a mask and earphones. On a four hour wait it makes things bearable.
