Dr Edward Tang went above and beyond for my father who has type 2 diabetes.

He provided thoughtful, considered responses to my Dad’s questions. He also consulted in a language more comfortable for him.

Very poor service tried 3 times by my NHS App to book a appointment to see the doctor for a medication review instructed by my chemist to have one for a new batch of medication.
I'm on the last batch now and still no answer from the surgery and they say on the App they will contact me up to 6 hrs, but it well pass that now and I have go and visit them and find out what's going on

Awful practice. Used to be a good practice up until a few months ago. Admin staff seem to think they know everything. Practice manager Fran is rude and patronising. Refused to give me appointments on multiple occasions, even been to the point where I have had to beg to see someone clinical as I was coughing up blood but she seems to think that’s a pharmacists problem. I’ve now put in 2 formal complaints regarding the practice manager as she refuses to book appointments even after completing their online form. It’s now got to the point where I’ve spoken with clinical staff from east Surrey hospital to see their point of view and they have all said it is incorrect the information the admin team provide. I’ve recently received test results where the labs have clearly wrote that I need to speak further with a clinician to have further tests done for other types of cancers etc and the admin team have not reached out to book these appointments like they are meant to. Practice manager refused to give details of her manager as my previous complaint was obviously not dealt correctly with it being dealt with by the deputy manager, but Fran the practice manager said she is not allowed to provide details of her boss. Within a few clicks on google his details were found. Shocking service and would not recommend.

Use to be ok, but since the new online book your appointment system started absolutely terrible! They may see your request within 6 hours 🤣 and then asked for a repeat prescription for a family member hospital said GP would do if needed to be told go to hospital what a joke 🤨

Very bad experience!! My 6 week old son was running out of his formula (dairy allergy) I have gone in to get a prescription as that’s what the DOCTOR told us to do and she spoke to me like I didn’t matter! She tutted at me. Acted like she was better than me, made me feel incompetent, I couldn’t of counted how many times she rolled her eyes and in the end she had to go and get someone else to speak to me as she “ was done” all because I said this was what I was told to do and that I needed the formula asap. I’m still in shock that she even spoke to me like this let alone when she’s the first face you see going into a doctors. Something needs to be done as I of 4 people who live in my area have said how rude she is.

In general the people at Pondtail have all been great and really friendly. I had one really bad experience where the doctor spoke over me, and was incredibly rude and sarcastic. He hadn’t let me explain why I’d actually made the appointment, so no clue why I was there.

Had the most depressing telephone appt with Dr Patel S. OMG! Just can't believe the micro aggression coming from a Dr to a patient with mental health challenges. Very sad! Would never like to be assessed by this Dr ever. No empathy!!!

Considering these people dealing with the health & wellbeing of others, the service provided is disgraceful.
Had my prescription cancelled for no apparent reason & they didn't even tell me of the cancellation (took the morning off work to get the prescription as it was very important)
I will be changing my GP & will never use this lot again.
