Great place. Refurbished gym, excellent classes, large swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Plenty of showers. The staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable about the services they provide. Great value for money and facilities available for people with disabilities.

I booked an active play and bounce party here for my 3 year old. Trying to even get through to the right department who took party bookings was an absolute nightmare. It took me 3 weeks to even make the booking. I was advised via email that payment was due 7 days before hand by popping in or over the phone. I chose to pop in as I did not have the time or patience to try and get through to the party department again. When I arrived at the desk to pay they told me I couldn’t pay in person and that I had to pay over the phone they told me they would take my details and the lady who works in the party department would call me later that day to make payment. After not hearing anything from her and wanting to make payment for the party to secure the booking I emailed (again) to ask for someone to call me so I could finally make the payment! When we arrived to set up the “food room” for the party we found the room we were booked for was filthy, the tables hadn’t even been wiped, there was food and crumbs all over the floor under the table and the seats. I went to reception to let the lady know we weren’t happy and was pleased when she moved us to a different room. The active play and bounce part of the party was supposed to start at 12pm and there was a party still in there at this time. This wasn’t great as we had people arriving for my son’s party who were congregating in the corridor wondering where to go. It all seemed to be a very stressful experience, which is a shame because my son and his friends had a lovely time in the active play and bounce.

Circus is due to open, 11th - 28th July.
Possible pressure on car parking places, especially if you are intending to use the centre's facilties.
The majority of the performances are in the evening..

First class leisure centre, fit for the 21st century. Reception team very helpful. Good cafe and staff . Cafe kept clean. Snacks and drinks available. THE CAFE IS SOON TO CHANGE AND BECOME ANOTHER COSTA
Toilets in cafe will also be available again after the cafe refurbishment.
Pool activities for the older person are very popular, but the activities are not just for that age group . From infants to pensioners, age is not a barrier for using the facilities

Pool usage review - Poorly designed, should've been south. W facing to use light better and heat.

In cold weather the rear fire exit glass wall (north facing) sucks all the cold in and throws it straight through the mostly open doors of the draughty pool changing area and straight out into the pool by the learners pool.

This wouldn't be so bad if the pool wasn't below 'tepid' temperature. In days gone by most pools used to show the water temps but these days of expensive energy and poorly designed places they would be embarrassed to show actual temp putting it upto the recommended 22.

Pools need to feel warm/ish and the air humid.

Drainage channel in wet changing needed to be on the back wall of cubicles, there's nowhere to wring your wet suits whilst changing/packing.

People who design these places need to be forced to visit a minimum of 200 leicer centers/unis/school sports halls in this country to see what works and what doesn't.

The pool is so cold, my son is shivering 10 minutes into an hour swim session. We try to come once a week to keep him confident in the water. Even us adults find it rather cold. The changing area is just as cold when you get out of the showers.

Went swimming as a non-member £6.20, friendly staff, great facilities and pool. Very clean and tidy which was great especially as was very busy. Nice wide slow swim lane available for laps. Free hairdryers, and plenty of parking outside.

Friendly staff, good venue with everything you need in a leisure centre. Excellent park run nearby, and you’ll be doing well if you can get under 21 minutes on the tough unforgiving hilly course. 🏃🏽‍♂️💙
