Ive been having massage regularly elsewhere but this one is the best I’ve ever had done. Very pleased with their professionalism and atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. Will recommend to friends and families! Will definately come back again! Thank you to the staff at Pimms retreat!

I had few massages at Pimms and each time it was a good thorough massage. However, they need to step up their internal communication. One time my massage was cancelled because there was miscommunication between the person who took the booking and the masseuse. Another time I had a call two hours after I booked the massage asking if it can be moved to another time.

Pimm is really amazing. And her staff are excellent too. I’ve required treatment to a sports injury related frozen neck. Having visited 3 times the results have been fantastic. My visit today was awesome. The treatment was highly targeted and honestly quite painful but don’t let that put you off. I needed a quick result and it was a case of no pain no gain and the gain was miraculous. I know without it tomorrow I would have been totally unable to twist my neck but now it feels good as new. I’m sure for those requiring a more holistic massage Pimm and her team would be awesome at that too but for me this was all about function and I couldn’t be more grateful for the excellent result. I will be back soon!

They really know what they are doing and care about the customer.

I went in for a deep tissue massage and with no description they found and worked out some tension points that have been there a long time. At the end of session they identified i had tight neck muscles and had been having migraines recently (spot on assessment) she then continued to work these issues out beyond my time slot.

I recommend this retreat and i will be going back.

-= Very Disappointing =-

Me and my partner booked a couples massage. When we arrived I was impressed with the décor everything is nice and new. They had a mix up with our booking but they were able to get that all cleared.

The problem is during the massage they don’t play any relaxing music or have any lavender or other aroma therapy. As they don’t play any music all you can hear is the road traffic from outside and the rustling of the plastic aprons constantly.

Under staffed - They only had two people so every time the phone rang my massage stopped, every time someone came in again my massage stopped. I stopped counting after the 5th time my masseuse walked out to deal with customers.

Terrible massage - Probably the only massage I’ve ever had where I felt worse walking out then when I came in. During the aroma therapy Swedish massage she kept highlighting where my knots where but did not get them out. She just said I had to come back for a sports massage. My partner on the other table got luckier and her masseuse got all the knots out for her. So I walked out feeling all the knots that I did not notice before, and the masseuse did nothing out them.

Also I asked about 3+ times for more pressure which she did apply for minute or two after asking. Then the pressure dropped to light again. I did ask a few more times for more pressure but maybe she forgot as she kept having to pop out to deal with other customers.

In summery you can get a far better massages on the halfway or Walton town centre for almost half the price, have a much better massage, nice back ground music and better overall experience.

It’s sad I had high hopes seeing that the owner was multi award winning but not sure how often she actually does massages. The massage experience we both had was quite poor.

I used to go to Pim who is, very sadly, no longer with us. I was a bit anxious about trying anyone new as she was amazing (and a world champion masseuse) but…. She did a fabulous job at training the girls. I instantly recognised her techniques, strokes and way of working in the massage I had. Her work lives on and I’m delighted. Best ever place to get rid of knots, blocks, aches and pains.

I cannot recommend Pim highly enough. She has astounding technique, huge range and technical experience. She cured my crippled neck and shoulder in 4 massage treatments last year when no other therapist or doctor could help. And I am so pleased she has opened her own salon. It is beautiful and calming and comfortable. I am going to be a very loyal regular! She is training up junior therapists at her salon so hopefully they will the very best like Pim in the not too distant future.
