I don’t usually leave feedback but after searching for the number on Google I saw such bad reviews I just had to.
Hazel was so kind with my 80 year old mother on both occasions that she visited the pharmacy. In actual fact they were the ones that gave her antibiotics for infected mosquito bites, which are now healing nicely. Surgery across the road offered her one appointment which gave her 10 minutes to get there, mum is mobile but steady and this is not realistic. Wasn’t offered an alternative appointment and was told to ring 111 if she couldn’t attend appointment. It’s behaviour like this that causes the pharmacies extra pressure. I feel for them and think they are doing a marvellous job under the massive strains they are up against. I personally thank them for all their hard work.

First off, I hope all you bad reviewers read this ...

15 minutes isn't very long to wait from when they unlock the door for a prescription.

It is not the chemists fault that they don't have your prescription, despite what any app says, prescriptions are issued by doctors.

If you're fed up of paying for your prescription, sign up to universal credit. Even tho you don't receive a payment, you still get free prescriptions...

Stop moaning about new staff being under qualified or inexperienced. Every body has to start somewhere, get over it.

You aren't royalty, you're not anything of importance, so stop eating your own ar5e with a silver spoon and get back to the real world ?

Once again went to collect my prescription and it wasn't ready! Was told try again Monday because of a lack of pharmacist yesterday ! This is becoming all too regular! Oh, and they also said it wasn't on their system anyway even though it had been requested from the doctors at the beginning of the week and is a permanent repeat! Happened twice in last three months! What a shambles!

Don’t even stay open until 5. Just pure laziness. Desperately needed a prescription and they can’t even stay open until the time listed. It’s appalling. Some people are only available at certain times on certain days, it’s so disrespectful to those that really need their prescriptions and will now suffer for another week until they can visit next Saturday. So disappointed.

First the good points.
*it's one of a small handful of shops in Barton to remain open after lunch on Saturdays.
*It's handy for Barton residents being in close proximity to the main surgery..And to villagers using the surgery who then want "over the counter" medications.
*Good for people who enjoy standing around putting their world's to rights (moaning about the chemist etc) because there's no better way to use 20-45 minutes of their life!

Bad points
*continually understaffed
* continuously manned by new and inexperienced staff at the counter.
" medicines and prescriptions mysteriously get lost/ misplaced. Staff then tell you that you or your partner have already picked them up when you know that is not the case.
* You are then lead to believe that either you have Alzheimer's or your partner is playing mind games with you!
*shelves are filthy. Full of dust and hair.

Suggestions
*more staff
*magazines and seats for waiting customers
*coffee/tea/snack vending machine for customers who have to spend their lunchbreaks waiting for their prescriptions to be found/made up.
* damp cloths or dusters at hand so that bored customers are enticed into cleaning yhe shelves whilst they wait.

Although always busy the staff always go above and beyond for my multitude of chronic pain illnesses and huge amount of meds. With their help and advice I have been able to avert two potential life threatening moments
Don't moan about them being busy and having to wait - they serve a whole lot of different customers who I assume many others like me require specialist controlled medications.

Useless, they lie to your face left a slip for baby formula with them two weeks later went to collect and they say there is a manufacturing issue I called the manufacturer and there is no issue lloyds didn't request the milk from there distributor I went to boots and had the milk that afternoon. Lloyd's in barton are useless time wasters. They couldn't even get infant gaviscon so I bought some from a online pharmacy it came next day...

Went in today to collect my prescription which they hadn't got, yet on the app it said it was ready, ive had a proceedure done on my hip so can't get back to pharmacy to collect it's there fault it wasn't there earlier yet they want to charge me for privalege, disgusting
