As good as the last time, if not better! It was quite a while since my last visit but it was still as amazing, and they had had a refit. The spa is amazing, the staff from the moment you arrive to point you leave everything is seamless. |The staff are helpful and I had The best massage from Leanne. |Food was amazing and again could not fault it. |It is worth every penny.

I visited Pennyhill on May 25, 2025, for an overnight stay and was thoroughly impressed. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained surroundings. The room was excellent, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the spa facilities were top-notch.||As for the dining experience, I ordered the pulled pork. While the presentation was impeccable and visually appealing, the meat itself was unfortunately quite dry. It may have benefited from being cooked at a lower temperature for a longer period to enhance tenderness.||Overall, however, it was a wonderful stay in a fantastic location. I would highly recommend Pennyhill and look forward to returning in the future.

Everyone and everything at Penny Hill Park was superb. Arriving on Tuesday this week and left on Wednesday x I wish we were still there! The PANSY suite we had was excellent, very spacious clean and comfortable with so many extra touches. The food and drink was exceptional.. evening meal, breakfast and lunch. Cocktail on Tuesday night very nice especially the Amaretto Sour. The steam rooms and all the facilities were great - I even managed a spin class with Tom. My full body exfoliation with Katie was bliss… and it included a head scalp massage which was lovely. Thanks to a great team x you can see the owners and staff all take pride. Well done I hope to come back. Great landscaped grounds too. Felt very safe and relaxed at all times.

Really fabulous spa and pool facilities in beautiful and well presented grounds. The Heritage room was very spacious and comfortable, to which we were upgraded when they noticed my husband had some mobility issues. Staff were charming and helpful. The dining options were varied, rather expensive but delicious. A peaceful and wonderful stay.

We visited this hotel for afternoon tea and were not disappointed. Beautiful presentation, variety of teas and excellent service. The hotel exudes class and style. Live music! Everything was perfect! After tea you can take a walk in the park

I’ve never written a review before unless I absolutely love something, but considering the price we paid for Pennyhill Park, it felt necessary.

Sadly, check-in and check-out were both horrible experiences. On arrival, the lady checking us in was busy complaining to her colleague. I even made a light-hearted joke (“it’s not all bad!”) to try to get some attention, only to be told it’s okay to be annoyed - not exactly the warm welcome we hoped for. I had my hands full of bags and clothes and there was no offer of help.

When we got to our room, it unfortunately smelled a bit off - seemed to be something wrong with the air con, as it was fine once switched off. Otherwise, the room was very pleasant.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the spa. We both had hot stone massages and agreed they were the best we’ve ever had. The spa staff were so friendly and helpful. We also loved the pool area, and dinner and breakfast were excellent - delicious food, great service, and we felt genuinely welcome.

Then came check-out. I went down with all our things to pay and leave them with reception. We wanted to split the bill, as my friend was still enjoying the pool (which we were entitled to use until 2pm). I paid my half and asked if she could pay hers when she came up later. I was told this wasn’t allowed — it had to be settled immediately. I even offered to fetch her, but the receptionist suggested I pay her share and sort it out between ourselves later. This suddenly felt like we weren’t trusted. It left such a sour taste that we cancelled our lunch by the pool and left before 2pm, simply because we’d had enough.

In short: beautiful facilities and some brilliant staff, especially in the spa and restaurants, but let down by poor front desk service that made us feel unwelcome at both the start and end of our stay. At this price point, you expect far better.

I took my mum to Pennyhill Park for her birthday. ||On arrival Ellie was superb, very welcoming and even laughed at my mum's 'cracking' joke.. (don't give up your day job mum..) ||I am currently on crutches after hip surgery and a lovely man buggied us to the spa - which was a great help..||After a warm welcome at spa reception - we then chillaxed (without the Netflix and chill as I was with my mother !) and we consumed a delicious Chicken Caesar salad with Sweet Potato fries outside by the pool with a glass of Gavi - would highly recommend the fries !... ||The spa facilities are excellent, lovely pool and hot tub with wonderful steam room and relaxation area. ||Dinner was also fabulous.. we actually had x2 starters as the Chicken Caesar was so substantial - our waiter Shinto was wonderful, he really deserves a big promotion. What a lovely man, so attentive and kind about my crutches !.. ||The beds in Sandown are Queen size (x2 beds) with the plushest of bedding and gorgeous pillows.. a large very comfy sofa and huge flat screen TV - the view is of the spa and pool, the bathroom has a TV above the bath - rock star. ||Katie was extremely helpful and organised as we left - she helped us with our bags down the stairs and and very kindly buggied us to the carpark as it was raining (good old English weather) and not the easiest on crutches.. ||I would HIGHLY recommend a stay at Pennyhill Park.. total luxury.

We popped in for a spot of afternoon tea and weren’t disappointed. The hotel oozes class in a quietly confident way. Piano classics (think Burt Bacharach) fill the air as ladies celebrate baby showers and mothers are treated to cucumber sandwiches and ‘bubbles’ - all very pleasant indeed. Sunday afternoon gold.
