Pendleview have no care or compassion and have completely forgotten the reason they exist is to help their patients.

They have implemented more rules than I can count, that make their lives easier, while only making things more difficult for their patients.

Trying to call, get a repeat prescription, drop off samples or anything else all works around their time consuming and difficult processes and to their convenience, not taking account of working parents or the elderly.

Surley, rude, unhelpful and nosey reception/admin team, are beyond unhelpful more often than not.

Time this surgery took a step back, took a good look at their practices and care and started working for their patients and community rather than themselves.

I've asked to see the doctor face to face because the medication for the eye dose not work it not helping at all.they have referred me spec savers. My English is not the best I find it hard to describe what I really want to say and find it easier to talk to someone in person the 1st time I told them this medication is not working please can you change it with out even seeing me they gave me same medication what was the point of that I guess just to brush me off 2nd they have referred me to spec savers this is beyond their capability to treat my eye this is worse then covid 19 I do not understand what is there problem

they are not helpful at all, the receptionist was rude whilst talking to me even though I requested for an appointment urgently, she then told me it’s not urgent and seemed to think she knows everything about the medical problem. She lacked manners and etiquette of speaking .

I always used to say how this was the best surgery however having moved to a different town I realise how bad things are here. I have contacted the surgery many times for my parents and I'm shocked how long they have to wait for an appointment. The online consultation is a joke, they can't read or write English. I complete the consultation myself and they are usually sent a text for a telephone appointment weeks later.

My mum went to the surgery for an appointment which she has written by the reception staff and she was sent home and given an appointment in 3 weeks time.

It's really sad and I really do hope things will change for the better.

Had absolutely bad experience today with doctor.
My baby has a health problem. Unfortunately , I didn’t ask doctors name, but she was not polite, she didn’t want to listen about symptoms, she didn’t even look and check my baby . And didn’t give any medicine or treatment. . It was 5 minutes of wasted time. I’m very disappointed

I find the E consult an excellent service. Also face to face the clinical staff are also excellent. The reception staff in my experience are very polite and helpful. I am very happy with this practice.

Despite all the problems faced by GPs and the NHS, this surgery has been doing a fantastic Job and has remained open throughout. Yes it is difficult to see a named GP and yes there has been some reductions in face to face appointments but the team will always do their very best for you. Using the Econsult web tool works really well.

It’s amazing to hear of a practice where the patients are scared of the receptionist staff. I’ve only have feedback from BAME patients but it appears that the patients feel marginalised and feel there is a lack of compassion and empathy from the reception staff. There is a fear that if you upset the reception staff you will struggle to get an appointment with a doctor of your choice and typically get an appointment with the least experienced doctors or simply get fobbed off for weeks.

It’s a shame as I don’t recognise those values from the days of Dr Hutchinson, Dr Ions and Dr Webborn.
