I have seen Jimmy for two injuries over the past year and he quickly resolved both issues, allowing me to get back to playing sport and enjoying life again without the previous aches and pains! The first issue was with my left shoulder in 2021, as I struggled to lift weights overhead without pain. Jimmy conducted a thorough assessment on my shoulder, diagnosed the issue and gave me specific strengthening exercises to do in my own time. The injury cleared up within a couple of weeks and I was able to compete in the weightlifting competition I had entered, but feared I may need to withdraw from. Recently I went to see Jimmy about my right ankle as it was preventing me from playing tennis, and again conducted a full assessment. Jimmy is always very comprehensive in his assessments and it allowed him to identify likely causes based my my history as well as movement tests. This time the injury cleared up within a week, having suffered with it on and off for multiple weeks! I highly recommend Jimmy. He’s highly professional, listens, educates and only books in the amount of sessions required to treat the injury. Often this is just the initial assessment and treatment.

I met with Jimmy just over a month ago presenting with severe and debilitating mobility problems and leg/hip pain and have been attending clinic every week. Being in my early 60’s I had started to think that I was in for a long, painful and relatively inactive retirement or that I was in need of some pretty drastic surgery. At the early assessments Jimmy identified the problem as muscular rather than structural and I immediately started to experience the benefit of the exercises and treatment he provided. By the second week Jimmy had pinpointed the index problem to an ankle injury incurred 17 years previously which was causing me to over-compensate and use the wrong muscles for everyday movement – such was my lack of mobility we expected to be in for a long-haul to recovery however, four weeks later I was able to comfortably walk around the cliffs in Cornwall – something I never expected to do. Key to the success has been the information and explanations Jimmy has given each week ensuring that I understand what the exercises are designed to do. He has helped me to be aware of the muscles and muscle groups, recognise issues that are causing immobility and pain and how exercise can help. He has also taught me how to use the correct muscles to achieve the required movement and how to perform the correct exercises to activate or rest muscles as required. The progress we have made has not only improved my mobility but has also had a profound impact on my wellbeing and I am now looking forward to being able to do and enjoy things that I thought I would never be able to do again. I would have no hesitation in recommending Peak Injury Clinic for a professional, considerate and effective assessment and treatment regime. Personally, I am continuing "maintenance" sessions to supplement my gym training sessions. No looking back!

Jimmy is a thorough professional who is helping rehab my knee after suffering a lateral meniscus tear, his programming has allowed me to progress from struggling to extend the knee to landing and bounding within 3 weeks. Looking forward to entering the late stage rehabilitation phases and getting back out on the field. Would definitely recommend Jimmy to anyone who is injured!

I visited the clinic and had a musculoskeletal movement assessment with Jimmy. I was not injured but wanted to understand why my training was not progressing and why certain compound moves such as squatting and overhead pressing was uncomfortable. He was incredibly thorough and patient and really took his time to walk me through everything he was doing. It was well worth the money. Sometimes I didn’t quite understand some of the terminology but Jimmy was more than happy to clarify and explain what he meant. I was given practical things to implement and a document with it all laid out. Since the assessment the clinic has checked back in with me to make sure I was happy with everything. I recorded my progress and send it across to them, they immediately responded with support for my progress. I could not recommend them more, I will definitely use the clinic again should I ever need to.

I attended Peak Injury Clinic for a movement screening of the lower body. Jimmy was incredibly thorough and really took his time with the assessments, ensuring I was comfortable and fully understood the full process and what he was looking for. Having an injury that still inhibits me to this day despite occuring over a decade ago, he was very good at explaining my limitations and even managing to identify parts that even NHS specialists had missed. He has even got me on the process of getting these fixed within the NHS, avoiding further costs. I am incredibly happy with Jimmy's work. I will certainly be returning to Peak Injury for any future assessments or treatment required. Anybody who has any physiological issues I highly recommend going to Peak Injury Clinic and letting Jimmy guide you through the process.
