Steph has used radial and focus shockwave therapy in combination with hands on physio to vastly improve a tennis elbow condition which I've been unable to shift for the last 7 months, and which had become really painful - a good 8/10 just picking up a cup of tea!
After 3 sessions my pain was down to 1/10 and 3/10 on a bad day but is continually improving and I have been able to (slowly) resume my gym work, rehabbing and strengthening the elbow.
Steph is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough - she looked at the problem systemically, not just in isolation - working on the soft tissue in my arm, chest, lats and mobilizing my neck - all of which were exacerbating the problem.
It has made such a difference to begin to get back to normal after being plagued by such a seemingly innocuous injury and I would recommend Pea Green Physio in pain and who wants to get back to normal.

Following a serious ski- accident, I received 3 sessions of focussed shockwave therapy with Steph Smith-Rowles on the delayed union of my tibia. After these initial sessions, my next X-ray showed a remarkable improvement - the bone was more dense & a new healing callus had formed. My surgeon then recommended I receive a further 3 sessions as the treatment was obviously having a positive effect. I found Steph to be professional in all aspects of my treatment. She studied my X-rays & medical history thoroughly & devised a treatment plan which my surgeon confirmed to be 100% correct. Steph also suggested some exercises to further facilitate my recovery. She was very caring during the treatment sessions and the FSWT was straightforward & simple. My surgeon had advised me that it may be painful, but this would be a good indication that the treatment was being effective. At times I did find it to be uncomfortable, but Steph was sympathetic & encouraging, allowing for recovery breaks during the sessions. I would not hesitate to recommend this treatment to anyone suffering from delayed or non-union broken bones. Despite some initial scepticism before the treatment, I can wholeheartedly say that it has changed my life. I am now walking without pain for the first time in 2 years.

I booked in for a sports massage ahead of a half marathon at the weekend and was able to easily find a convenient slot using the Pea Green website.

I saw Anthony who was very thorough, checking over my history and whether I was nursing any injuries prior to the session.

Anthony is a great guy, really warm and engaging and clearly very good at his job! While there were a few instances where my aching muscles were pretty upset about what he was doing to them, I practically floated out of the clinic after so it was clearly worth it!

I have struggled for months with a medication induced tendinopathy and with Steph's expert, patient help have moved from Aircast Boots and A&E to walking and exercising with care. Steph is not just highly experienced but also listens! She even contacted my GP with concerns about a potential rheumatoid referral and requested bloods be done, She was absolutely correct in her assessment and I now have a referral to NHS Rheumatology to check things.
