My mam has been in this care home for just over 12 months, all the staff work really hard and have been great with my mam, who feels safe and secure with them.
I feel they need a couple more staff fully trained in Dementia but they are short staffed,
I have seen some positive changes since Leanne took over as manager, but I feel that there's still a bit more to be done.
Well done to Jasmine and the team for all the hard work they put in.
My only concern is that the telephone needs to be manned more, I telephone on a regular basis but the it goes unanswered.
Also, I have waited 15 minutes outside to gain entry when I visit my mam, so there should be an easier system in place .

Further to this review 4 months ago, my concerns about trying to contact the home are still a BIG concern.
I have telephoned 4 times today letting the phone ring at least 10 minutes each time with no answer.
When I go in to speak with them, all they say is that they are busy and shirt staffed.
This is a management problem.
If it was an emergency, you have no chance of speaking with anyone on the phone.
Surely a member of staff can carry a mobile phone with diverted calls so relatives can keep in touch?
Also the door needs to be manned constantly, my mother has managed to get out 3 times without them knowing.
I'm getting fed up of complaining about this to the staff.
I have deducted a star due to their ignorance.

Just rang pavillion in response to a distressed call from my mother. Spoke to Jasmine who was very abrupt and rude. No customer services whatsoever. I hope she treats her clients better than their relatives

My father died at the Pavillions this morning. Regardless of repeated requests for information on his condition over a lengthy period of time the home have not once contacted me. Even with his death they have still not informed me - heard from another source. I am absolutly disgusted. When the home opened up after full lockdown families were allowed to meet their loved ones in the car park. No distancing precautions were in place. My father died from Covid. I was not even informed that to meet was an option. Pavilions is an absolute disgrace.
