Receptionist at Beversbrook surgery informed me that I have access online to order my prescription. I informed her that I don’t, and guess what? I’m here leaving this shitty review because it’s easier to navigate a complaint on here, than get a prescription from my doctor. I won’t bother you again Beversbrook surgery. I will just sit at home and die. Very clever NHS, this will sort the extra long waiting list out.

This service used to be really good. Since 11th Nov I have requested a repeat inhaler three times on patches. Each time my request gets closed. I’ve never had to do it before and I work full time. I’ve tried calling and no one seems to care to help. I sent some results to the asthma nurse who has said that she would get someone to organise it but no one has. Awful. Cannot even issue a repeat prescription.

Excellent patient care. Has certainly got much better over the last few years.
Although they really need to answer the phone a lot quicker. The last thing you want when you're in trouble is the added stress of long waits on the phone. I have been number one in the queue and still waited 15 minutes. It's a really poor reflection on a very good practice.

My experience of the Patford House medical team has always been a positive one. However, I met one of their receptionists today to drop off a sample and I have never met anyone so unhelpful, so unforthcoming with information in my life. Either I got "can't take it" or silence with a total look of boredom and don't care attitude across her face. It took me over 5 mins to drag the information out of her of what the problem was.

Message to Patford House management - Your receptionists are the face of the surgery. They represent you. Clearly this young girl hasn't had the necessary customer service training to deal with real people. She needs it.

I’ve had enough of this practise! The receptionists are just horrible and actively stop patients from making appointments or seeing a gp. The receptionists think they’re qualified to judge over the phone who gets to see a doctor and who doesn’t. They have no bedside manner and are unsympathetic and rude. Appalling service. They don’t offer appointments or emergency appointments you can book over the phone, only online, which is not possible for me. I’ve used this surgery for years, but I’m now going elsewhere. My recent experience with this surgery has prompted me to now go for private care through health insurance. Not that they give a fig. Sad that they make the gps look bad too, good luck getting in to see anyone who might be able to help you….. I’d advise to avoid this practise, if you can. So sad.

Before merging with other surgeries was great. Went through a very rough time with lack of staff and no appointments available. Today the service has greatly improved. Constantly trying to improve and better opportunities to speak to staff.

I didn't actually get to have my blood test as was 8 minutes late due to horrendous traffic in Calne and was told I had to rearrange. Despite sitting often waiting on appointments over the years! Then you have sent me a text saying my results will be back within 7 days which obviously they won't!!!

I have just moved to Calne and registered with this practice and I can say with confidence that their service is absolutely lamentable.

I asked for an appointment one week ago and have heard nothing back... I went back today and they said it was with the booking team and I should hear back in the next week or two!! Incredible... my old surgery (I was with them for 11 years) always gave me a telephone appointment or a face to face one within two to three days... this is what we should expect...
