My family have been registered here for years, I myself have been registered here for 27 years. I used to be more than happy calling the doctors for an appointment, it used to be lovely and the reception staff were always helpful. BUT NOT ANYMORE! I get anxiety at the thought of even trying to call because you just get refused your appointments, your medication and everything else! One receptionist in particular is incredibly rude, sighing down the phone when you ask to book an appointment and and thinks she knows best, often saying that they don’t do doctors appointments for such and such, when I have seen a doctor there for the same reasons before. She tries diagnosing you and just doesn’t seem to want to help anyone, several of my family members have already moved to other practices due to the lack of trust in this surgery now. There’s never any appointments but there’s no one ever in the waiting room. All of the other staff are lovely, but she herself I think has single handedly made so many other people move surgery as well. All I want is to feel comfortable in making a phone call to my doctor and to feel like I’m actually getting somewhere with my issues. There are so many things I have put off getting checked or looked into, just because of how crappy the whole surgery is now. All I want is to see a doctor or speak to one and feel heard, but even when you speak to a doctor, they don’t even really listen to you anyways so I’m probably going to move to another surgery as well because it just seems pointless and a waste of time being registered here anymore and it’s just really upsetting and sad because of how amazing it used to be. It’s such a shame.

You go to a pre booked appointment, only to end up spending over an hour every time, as they want to weigh you, do your height. I've been told I'm fat, and they like slim Vicki, apparently I had asthma...never been in for chest complaints. I suffer with depression, and i was asked do I want unalive myself, and replied no, they took depression off my health record and told me to drink camomile tea and I got unwelcome hug.....I had to laugh. I also need regular bloods and they can't not do them, refuse to refer me....so my health has suffered. Complained to practise and all other relevant, and have now moved surgeries hopefully.

I've seen more compassion in a rock!

I've been with the surgery since I was baby, the care aspect of the practice has disappeared! The individuals you speak to are all 'the computer says no’.

I had issues with my shoulder and elbow, I couldn't see the GP, they could refer me to a physio but that would be a 6 week wait. I decided to go private (via my works healthcare) this practice tried to charge me £150 for the pleasure of a letter! I am lucky to have this benefit as I am awaiting surgery now!

Today I called for a repeat prescription and if in any way I could collect I am in a lot of pain and was told no and I would need to wait. Back in the day, this surgery was a supportive and empathetic business now it seems unless it’s a flu jab or annual health check, nothing else seems to matter.

PLEASE AVOID!!!! I had been a patient there for 38 years. I rang after struggling with my back. I was told I needed physio I wasn't offered a doctors appointment. After being sent for the wrong mri scans and never having seen the doctor I was struggling to walk and had fallen numerous times I was told eventually that I would be paralysed if I didn't have spinal surgery immediately. The reception staff are beyond rude
and unhelpful thinking they know best. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I have experienced.I am looking at a year's recovery because I didn't receive a diagnosis sooner.I have changed to a new doctor's surgery thankfully they are caring, helpful and supportive everything that Park View Surgery isn't.

Avoid !!
Do not use this surgery, the lack of professionalism is another level. The way the reception staff speak to you is absolutely appalling. Rude & aggressive and try to tell you what's wrong with you before even seeing a doctor. Everyone is masked up like we are still in lockdown, never anyone in the waiting room yet you are unable to get an appointment. Whatever is actually wrong with you won't be followed up, you will just be dismissed.

Compassionate care, exceptional service. Cannot thank the team enough - reception/care co-ordinators all very friendly and professional. Appropriate wait for appointment (speedy when needed recently) and both Dr Loke and Dr Lee have been wonderful at my recent appointments- cannot thank them enough for their care. Would highly recommend.

Ring at 8am to be constantly disconnected or when able to connect left on hold for excessive amount of time. If you manage to get through the receptionists think they are the doctors and diagnose you. Don’t ever get an appointment and constantly told to go to walk in centre or a&e. Even for my baby and children everything is walk in or a&e. Absolutely shocking and appalling surgery. When you actually get an appointment the place is always EMPTY!

Delayed my fertility treatment, took months just to try and sort out a welfare form (which they tried charging me for). Once I moved practice, it was done on the same day and without a charge.

Receptionist is so rude (Dr Lee's wife), putting her hand infront of my face saying she was busy. Considering they knew what we were going through, the duty of care and empathy given were disgusting. Plus they think it's good practice to slap a feedback survey on your leg whilst you're still getting seen to...

Wouldn't recommend the place to my worst enemy. 1 star is generous, would give less if I could.
