After what I thought was going to be a good place for care, it turns out that this is another Ltd company who running a GP practice. Asked to see a GP, this was refused, I explained why I wanted an appointment but it made no difference, a report from a consultant's clinic sent to them was not looked at, the practice needed to refer me to another service which they failed to do, and recommended other medication should I need it, well if they refuse to see me to discuss and told me to go back to the consultant. A member of their team has made inaccurate notes on my medical records, 1 star is for the admin who don't deserve to take the flack for them.
I could go on and list other failing of Haxby, but believe it would take too long.

I called last Monday to book a regular appointment with GP as they never take patients with cough as emergency. It took me 40 minutes to get through just to be told that they will contact me within 5 weeks when appointment is available .

Such a stupid excuse of a doctors surgery.
The GP's themselves are excellent, however the receptionists are extremely rude. It takes me over 4 hours (from 8am to 12pm) to get through, and when I do finally get through after over 100 attempts to call, the receptionists are always rude and tell me I should have called at 8am when it opens, which I obviously do try.
I've actually been there for an appointment before and have asked my husband to ring them. When he tried, he told me that the line was busy, which was because the receptionist bad left the phone off the hook while she was chatting about what she'd brought for dinner.

It needs major improvements.

One of the worst doctors I have ever come across in my life. And that's not just my care I'm referring too. Put my nerve damage n mental health aside. My mother who's got c.o.p.d cannot even get her prescriptions. HAXBY GROUP full stop is a disgrace. That's including kingswood, orchard, & burnbrea (Lee street) they always claim they are busy. With empty waiting rooms & a call back list mainly position 25-40 every time. I was misscarrying with endometriosis & they didn't even do a blood test. They hold back medication. Don't read through client records. Just read the last entry. They cannot find files and prescriptions in the lerenzo hospital systems. You tell them your problems and they do not listen. Absolute discusting practice. And I will be changing. 3 surgeries to one number. Empty waiting rooms.

Used to be a good surgery now it is terrible. The triage process is ridiculously slow and no one really listens to what you say. Asked to see a GP and got an appointment with some other health care worker but was not told this until I got to the appointment. Then not listened too until I lost my patience and then promised a review and a phone call that night before six...guess what...no phone call. I'm going to move the another surgery. If I could give a minus score I would

SErvice since they closed the Priory Road Surgery is worse than disgusting. Ring for an emergency appointment and you ahve to wait for three weeks or more. TRy ringing at 8am by the time you get through well over an hour later you are told they no longer have any appointments please ring back 8am next day. Or the receptionist will ask you why you want to see a DR and will then decide whether you see a Dr or a nurse. Walk in Centre told my Autistic daughter had t see a DR but receptionist told me there was no need a Nurse would suffice. We have even have a receptionist tell me that my 19 yr Autistic daughter did not need me as her carer, and she was to grow up and speak for herself. She also argued that we had been told to make an appointment for a clinic which we hadnt, I was there but the receptionist was adamant she was in the room and heard my daughter being asked raising her voice so everyone could hear. When I rang from the waiting room to Kingswood to speak to teh Surgery manager to make a complaint about the way I was treated and spoken to the Receptionist came out into the waiting room and leaning down to my face (Im am in a wheelchair) she threatened that if I ever refused to listen to her again or argued with her she will remove me from the practice and make sure I will never be accepted oi any other Practice in Hull. Repeat prescriptions need to be given in the centre, to the receptionist, on one occasion I had asked for my prescription to be prescribed a few days early as I had ran out earlier than usual. I am on controlled drugs I was told I had to wait two workng days, as this was Friday ad monday was a bank holiday I would ahve to wait till the following Thursday. When I explained I couldnt as I could not stop taking the medication I was told it wasn't their problem it was procedure. Thankfully the Pharmacy was able to get a doctor to sign a repeat for me much to the receptionists annoyance. Most of the Receptionists think they are better qualified than the Dr's to diagnose a patients condition and will decide themselves if the patient needs to see a DR or not.

Appalling service, Horrendous time schedules, Not understanding my schedules. I don’t understand why they open the Orchard Park Surgery (Haxby Group) if there is no staff in it? Dreadful communication skills even though all I did over there was talk and they didn’t attempt to even help. Its sickening how everybody keep asking me to go to private, even though I do not have the money for it nor do they attempt to help me without me paying extra money, its selfish they only talk to you for money and don’t even actually attempt or understand your problems. This is ridiculous how they ‘try’ to ‘help me’ but don’t even give me medications and I only speak to them they don’t even talk to me and they type on their keyboard as if their keyboard was their voice box speaking to me, I am disgusted and frustrated from their lack of actions.

Awful behaviour witnessed to several people yesterday evening,(17-00 18-00..) Brought into a distressed conversation with a young child Mum and another patient. One of them supported by a professional who was going backward and forward dealing with a degree of Rudeness.
