Optimal Movement

I have been struggling with my shoulder for a long time now and have never visited a physiotherapist before. Gemma made me feel very comfortable from the moment I met her and give a really thorough consultation. The exercises and advice have helped a great deal and were easy to follow. I would definitely recommend optimal movement to anyone.

Made an appointment due to a heel and calf problem. Was met by Gemma who I can not speak highly enough of. Being a more mature chap i was a little nervous, but she listened to what I had to say, always had a smile and soon put me at ease and gave me confidence in her abilities. She took the time to examine and ask questions and formulated some gentle exercises to start the rehabilitation process. I am now playing and enjoying my sport and life again virtually pain free thanks to the expertise and professionalism of Gemma. I would fully recommend Optimal Movement.

Hands down the best physios I’ve ever come across! I’m pretty sure I’ve seen almost everyone who works there now! Joe sorted my neck out years ago…Ollie treated my back…Gemma’s fixed my shoulder pain…and Lucy is in the process of helping my knee post ligament reconstruction surgery last year. Everyone is so expert in their field and so kind in their approach. Definitely worth every penny spent and I’m sure other parts of my body will start falling apart soon just to get some attention from the team!

I am a keen runner and first came to see Steve in mid 2022 after suffering with knee pain. He diagnosed the issue in the first session and I was able to run pain free within a week. Since then I come back to see him regularly before any major races,he is very thorough and I always come away feeling well prepared. Also had a really good gait analysis with Oli which I recommend.
