I cannot recommend One Leisure St. Neots for swimming lessons. The centre is poorly managed (mostly by teenagers), and hygiene standards are far below acceptable levels.
Filthy changing rooms. Constant urine smell, and inadequate cleaning.
Poor sanitary separation. Showers and toilets in the same area are opposite each other, making the whole area stink when toilets are used.
Lack of hygiene enforcement. Overshoes are provided but never enforced, meaning dirt from outdoor shoes ends up near the pool and in the water.

It’s shocking how basic hygiene rules are ignored here. If you care about cleanliness and proper facility management, look for alternatives.

The pool is fine however the entire place needs to be cleaned. To be honest I don’t think it gets cleaned at all, it’s disgustingly filthy. The cheek to put up signs not to wear shoes when the floor is probably more dirty than it is outside. The changing rooms are really dirty and smell bad quite often. The lane swimming times are not adequate and it is far too busy. I only go here because it’s convenient.

Sorry but is the the dirtiest swimming pool I have ever been to, the staff wears shoes near the pool. Black stains on the railings and on the edges of the pool, floating patches, I don't know when it was thoroughly cleaned. It's a pity because I live 5 minutes' walk away and I would love to buy a pass. so I have to take the children to Bieggleswade or Kempston.

Just took my son here for a football game, this place is very big but could use some signs.
We were supposed to play on the astro pitch and we went for the first car park we saw because we didn't see any signs. Turns out we went to the complete other side of the leisure centre and we wasted 15 mins getting to the astro.
Simple signs for where the astro and the grass pitches are would help.

5 stars because they allow parkrun people in to change, use loos and shower. That's amazing and more places should be like this. Most are happy to pay a little if need be but this was amazing. Very helpful and friendly staff.

I haven't been for a while. Visited pure and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the facility was. I stopped going before as it used to smell and had slimey walls. Well done to the management for turning things around. I am now rejoining in the new year.

Tennis courts might just be the worst I have ever played on. Lose gravel (I mean everywhere), net was to low, tash all round the court.

Do not pay for the courts it seams they are just left open.

Really disappointing how un kept they are and they are charging 8 pound and hour is an absolute joke.

My daughter just started swimming sessions on the 1st of August and she had a great time, first time ever in the pool, George was great teacher 👏 thank you, keep it up. On the 8th August it was horrible my daughter nearly drown, she cried so much that she just wanted to get out of the pool, and the guy seems not to care at all, I had to call her out and leave. And I am afraid that this experience might have some effect on her which would be disappointing really because the whole past week she was looking forward to swimming.

My point is, she is just a toddler and very new to swimming she can't be treated same way as experienced toddlers who already know what they are doing, or what they supposed to do in the pool, I'm not saying my daughter must have special treatment but as a swimming instructor you know how to go about it when it comes to babies/toddlers who are new to swimming, right? Everything was wrong immediately the guy held her hand across the pool while not really looking that my daughter was afraid and feeling unsafe. That was when she tripped and nearly fell, she cried a little bit because of a shock, he just picked her up and put her the other side of the pool then few minutes later he came back to her swim further down, then the next minute my daughter's face was in the water, she cried so much she just wanted to be out and I had to call her out then leave.

I had similar experience as a child although mine wasn't with swimming coach it was just us kids swimming, and I nearly drown, as grown as I am now, my phobia of water still there and I don't want my daughter to suffer the same. So please just be considered especially when it comes to toddlers who still new to swimming.
