Used the health suite today. Whilst the sauna and aroma steam were nice and hot, the latter had no lights. Men’s changing room showers have two seemingly on long-term out-of-order, and the rest are a bit cool and lacklustre. Renovation seems imminent, and users may find the car park tough to park in at the moment

The only thing I do here with the family is the swimming classes for my children, but the teaching staff are great, they have the patience but eagerness for the kids to progress in a good timely fashion. The reception staff are busy but always have time for you to sort through any issues. The is a reasonable amount of differing foods and drinks available at the cafe, staff are friendly and aim to do their best for all.

The swimming teachers are lovely and the kids swim classes are really good.
The issue is, ALL of the changing booths in the family village are ‘claimed’ by other parents by leaving all their personal belongings in them, even though lockers are available and are never full.
This creates a horrid atmosphere as you are forced to walk your freezing child around the changing room looking for somewhere to get changed, or god forbid, have to move someone else’s stuff to use a changing cubicle. This obviously isn’t nice and runs the risk of causing arguments between parents.

The leisure centre have put up signs threatening to relocate people’s belongings to the lockers, but this clearly isn’t enforced.

I feel that my only option is to find kids classes elsewhere as this is ruining the experience for us.
A shame, as the staff are lovely, the cafe is great, and the swimming teachers are great.

Filthy dirty swimming pool, changing rooms, poolside and showers. Not sure if they even have cleaners but the same stains and scum remains week after week. The first aid room door was wedged open today with 3 packets of tablets on the desk - no staff anywhere to be seen, kids walking around and could get in. Shambles and needs new management to get on top asap

We booked bowling for a 5 year old and parent for 9am on a Saturday. Turned up and apparently they don't start until 10, this is an issue that's happened with the booking system before. I realise that where we live isn't their issue but it's a 20 minute drive there for us, so 40 minute round trip for nothing.
Do better please one leisure

Apart of the staff and teachers being amazing, I have to complain about the car park - not enough spaces, as the people attending events at Burgess Hall or matches fill almost all of them, leaving us parking anywhere else, in the change room is freezing cold all the time and sometimes I wonder if somebody cleans it daily.
