After having knee surgery in September, I’ve been trying to book an in person physio appointment for three months with no success. My recovery has been severely impacted, delaying my return to sports and normal life.

My daughter has tried twice this week to get an appointment to be told she can have one in 3 weeks time. Luckily she has a great boss who paid for her to see a DR during work in Bedford she has Bronchitis and prescribed antibiotics with an inhaler This practice is complete rubbish no patient care at all I will be going higher with this had she had not received treatment she was told it could have developed into pneumonia

Experience as per the other reviews, there is NO service since Lea Valley took over, cant get an appointment, cant get them to even answer the phone and when you do finally get through on no we dont do that any longer. I need police application forms signing for my sons police application 3 Yes / No questions and a signature must be done by GP or practitioner, 6 months ago it was no problem we'll let you know when they are ready to collect....how does one get anything done or moved forward. Its blood pressure inducing to be dealing with these people. Such a poor state we're in, wouldnt touch these guys any longer. Real shame as it was really good surgery.

Absolutely terribly uncaring doctors. Never can get an appointment and Always met with rude and unhelpful doctors who will do anything to disagree with you, Only doctor that was helpful was dr Donaldson and she’s unfortunately left, highly reccomend the doctors opposite much kinder doctors and can actually get a appointment

The quality of care at Oliver Street Surgery Ampthill is severely lacking. On the rare occasion that you’re able to secure an appointment, the advice given is subpar. This practice has clearly taken on more patients than it can handle, seemingly prioritizing profit over patient care. They rely on a virtual reception system that feels utterly unresponsive, adding to the frustration. It’s evident that they are monetizing the number of registered patients to maximize revenue while neglecting the quality of care. I've since switched to private care, which is not only more effective but also costs me less than what I contribute to the NHS through taxes.

Since Lea Vale take over its almost impossible to achieve anything. long call lists, never call back, the website and forms as either blocked or unusable. even when you go in the receptionist is fridnly and tries to help but can achieve very little without you comleting a form online.

The quality of care provided by the surgery has significantly declined since Dr. Donaldson left and the merger with Lea Vale occurred. I have since moved out of the area. It's a shame for the surgery, as there were and still are some good staff who have worked there.

Truly terrible service!!!! You fill in the triage form and they may ring you back once... if you are lucky, but if you miss the call you have to resubmit your triage form and start all over again. I have been trying to get my child immunisation jabs since last December and I still haven't managed to get an appointment. I am actually going to try and change surgery because for the last 6 months I have had to use the 111 service, because if you have an emergency (child or adult) the receptionists just say no appointments, ring 111!
