I have always found the Old Town Surgery to be super helpful when they are under enormous pressure. I use a combination of the on line services such as repeat prescription requests and the phone. I would highly recommend them and they still, if you can wait a while, have a named family doctor who knows you and your medical history to a greater extent. After years of underfunding and lack of investment they are doing remarkably well - thank you team!

I have been with Old Town Surgery for many years. I have recently changed GP in the last few months, as I had lost faith in my previous GP. I have nothing but praise for many of the services I am forced to use. HCA Sue is fab, she checks and takes my blood on a regular basis. Dr Binodh treats one of my issues with care and understanding. Nurse Tracy is a great nurse (and I should recognise that as I
Am an ex nurse of many years).
Today I had to ring the surgery with a query and the prescription lady dealt with my issue in a kind helpful manner, going out of her way to deal with it. Thank you Old Town and Little Common Surgeries. Most of you project a caring, helpful, understanding, and sunny disposition and I feel you care about your patients. TC Bexhill Old Town

I recently changed surgeries as I wasn’t happy with my previous one. The difference here is remarkable, the receptionists, doctors, nurses, phlebotomists and everyone else are all fantastic. They are friendly, efficient and go above and beyond.

Amazing care from Dr Barrow and Dr Yemming.
Most of receptionists are lovely. There’s one that’s quite rude and unhelpful but have had great experience with the others. The only thing that I find really tough is unless you call at 8am you can’t get an appointment and my partner and I both have long term health conditions which causes fatigue and I’m in ridiculous amount of pain in the morning. This makes mornings very hard for us and so can’t always call at 8am. I feel there should be a better system for people who have medical conditions that make mornings hard as it is not fair on those that struggle.

This GP surgery was awful! Now I’ve moved to another GP I’ve been referred to specialists and have been told I never should have been left in this state. One GP told me a medical condition I had was “awful to look at but to get on with it”. I was once left for an hour and a half in a side room waiting because they forgot about me then made me wait another 30 minutes while I was really ill! The GPs just ignored everything I said. The regular GPs are never in. The reception staff are really rude! I wouldn’t recommend this GP practise to anyone!

This surgery is a complete disrespectful surgery, the receptionist are rude as hell, I think there is maybe 1 nice 1 there!! Since being with them iv always found it so awkward and uncomfortable, I feel like they need help with understanding people with mental health problems and I feel it's ok for receptionist to be rude to you but if you snap back you are then in the wrong!! I basically have lost all faith in this surgery and its so disappointing and all I hear is mainly negative about them so I'm gladly changing surgery!! I even emailed the manager Sophie and explained about the rude comments the receptionists would lsay and that's so unprofessional useless surgery and again it's a shame but I guess sometimes you have to change to get the better support and help that some certain doctors just cannot seem to provide!! I really wouldn't advice any1 to sign up with this surgery 😳 just my opinion

I was told by sexual health to get my contraception from my GP from now on. Called up when I had 2 weeks left of my pill. Booked an appointment to talk to the nurse to do the pill check. Waited a week for the appointment. On the day of the appointment, the receptionist rang and left a voicemail saying that the nurse is ill and that I need to reschedule. I waited 20 minutes in the queue and managed to get through and reschedule it for a week's time. Another week goes by and the same thing happened AGAIN. Receptionist called me 10 MINUTES before my appointment time and said that the nurse is unavailable and to reschedule. She couldn't stay for 10 MINUTES longer to call me? What happened in the 10 minutes before my appointment? Did she run away? I waited A WEEK for this appointment. So now I have to go to sexual health and explain why I will not be asking my GP for my pill again.
