By far the best surgery in the area. The surgery itself is a lovely bright, airy sunny space with plenty of seating and room to move.
The doctors are fantastic and you always feel listened to, never rushed.

The nurse practitioners are the best I've ever seen anywhere. Dawn herself has seen me through some of my worst times and has been responsible for alleviating some of my long standing health difficulties, something I never thought possible.
She and the rest of the staff always make time for you despite being extremely busy. They all go the extra mile to ensure patients are well looked after and attended to.

The dispensary & reception staff are spot on too. Always really friendly, so helpful and they, as the rest of the team there take time to get to know you and make you feel welcome and valued. You really could not be in better hands than those of the team at Oakfields Health Centre.

You're far more than just a name to them and this is one surgery that in my opinion stands out as a shining example to and sets the standards for all others. This is how it should be done and how healthcare should be.

Completely agree with Andrew's review. Reception staff unskilled with attitude and judgement without seeming to realise they are supposed to be offering a service. After frustrated attempts to get an appointment with a doctor to discuss my medication, I was told I must go through dispensary, had an appointment cancelled by their staff in order to be put through this process and was subsequently left short of medication, which is not supposed to be missed. Receptionist argued with me insisting she didn't know surgery procedures! When trying to request same Dr for consistency, different times and doctors get allocated regardless of agreed appointments. Awful service.

I had been having problems with my periods and was prescribed tranexamic acid and it didn’t work so I booked another appointment and this time with a different doctor (not sure the name), the whole time I was there I felt like I wasn’t being listened to and she was really not interested in anything I had to say, when I left and went to collect my prescription I realised she prescribed me the thing that wasn’t working and that was the whole reason why I was there, complete waste of time.

I can't believe dr imlach stopped my meds didn't say when she'd do it and gives no advice or reduction now lying saying I had a reduction

Joined this practice in March 2020, not the best time to change GP with the pandemic. I have worked in some GP surgeries as well so am in a position to review from both sides of the table.
I must say the staff and service here is superb. They are prompt, polite and very thorough, even with the ask my GP online facility.
