Cancelled my membership after 4 months. Tried for 9 days to arrange PT sessions and everytime a call back promised, no one called back. I run my own businesses and if a potential customer was chasing me to part with their cash for my services I would be very embarassed. Far too busy at times, and the mens changing rooms benches constantly covered in white protein powder. Also outdoor swimming pool not very well kept at all. For the price they charge for memberships it really is not worth the cost.
Positives though, lots of equipment if can find a time it is not busy, nice coffee shop/cafe, and most the staff very friendly.

This used to be a really nice gym some years ago but these days it's extremely over-subscribed and overpriced, yet the facilities are falling into a really manky state. The pool has swimming lessons every single evening and Saturdays which I think is a cheek given that these classes are paid and the cost of membership is so high. So as well as the fact that there's less pool for members to use, it has the atmosphere of a public baths with constant shouting from the poolside. It also looks like a rough leisure centre now with rust and peeling paint everywhere. And...It's so expensive! Where is the money going? The gym floor is sub par and the classes are always full, the popular ones are booked up all the way up to the limit of how far ahead you can book, so that's something I'm paying for that I can't even get. The gym floor is the only thing that doesn't feel overcrowded but I can get better facilities from a budget chain gym if I just wanted that, and for a fraction of the price. Needless to say I'm looking for a better deal, I really feel robbed.

Disappointing, Unsafe, and Lacking Support at Nuffield Baby Swimming Trial

I recently took my daughter to a trial swimming lesson at Nuffield, a class specific for babies, and the experience was both disappointing and concerning. We were placed in the deep end without being informed, which made my 1-year-old daughter uncomfortable and distressed. The instructor did not come over at all to offer support or guidance. Instead, she simply waved for my mum to bring my daughter over to the other children—expecting them to move from the deep end to the shallow end on their own, which was both unrealistic and dangerous.

At no point were we advised to start in the shallow end, nor was any effort made to accommodate my daughter’s discomfort. My mum had to take her out of the lesson early, and the instructor showed no concern or interest. It felt dismissive, and it’s difficult not to question whether this had anything to do with the fact that we were the only people of colour in the class.

On top of this, a stranger—a man—approached my mum and asked if she needed help getting out of the pool. Given that this was a designated children's and baby swimming class, this interaction felt odd and raised concerns about security within the facility.

Safety and inclusivity should be top priorities in swimming lessons, especially for young children, and this experience did not reflect that at all. I wouldn’t recommend this class to parents looking for a supportive and secure environment for their child’s first experience in the pool. Avoid at all costs!

Been a member since summer 24. It’s a great place with friendly staff and lovely pools and a good range of classes.
However, I’m fed up that there’s absolutely no heating in studio 2 and this has been the case for a number of weeks. It makes Pilates quite miserable. Please please get this sorted.

Don't use, won't let you cancel as they wont accept a bank statement or provisional license as a change of address, how were you supposed to of got the provisional license if you dont live there? They want a bill or rent agreement but if you move in with someone and its their place how are you supposed to get that when everything is in their name? Send debt collection agencies after you pretty much straight away.

The gym isn't even very good, too busy so you can't get on any machines and the locker rooms are dirty and smell. Sauna and steam rooms arent hot enough. Much better options out there, nowhere near worth the fee. Stay well clear.

I would advise not to use this gym if you are in a relationship or married as personal trainers give you that extra service if you are willing and management condone this behavior as acceptable.

Been a member for two years. Can’t say I’m impressed, the gym has way too many running machines, free weights are ok, but for individual training the weight machines are seriously lacking in variety and number. The swimming pools are the biggest asset, but they are not maintained and not cleaned. There are still leaves in the outdoor pool from last year and the pool and equipment is dirty. Also the jacuzzi has been removed and replaced by four loungers, not the customer experience I paid for. We have been in and out of different changing rooms because of poorly implemented “improvement”of the showers, quite frankly a joke. This gym needs to seriously look at it self and provide a five star experience for its customers.

Nuffield gym , same as any other gym, within Wolverhampton, a little expensive against the others, why I dont know, only difference is they have a pool , 2 Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, nothing really to warrant the £50 off peak Pass per month, and even dearer if you want a roll on month contract ..family are classed as separate pricing, so not so good, only difference is not many kids even with parents , I dare say a hot summers day will be different as they have sun loungers by the outdoor pool, even that's a good temperature all year round ..
Only handy for me as i live within 10 min drive from here or I'd change gyms .
