From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are treated with kindness & respect.
I had oral surgery and cannot recommend the team highly enough. Every member of staff I came into contact with were friendly & kind. I was offered sedation as I am extremely nervous of injections in my mouth and although I was very anxious before it was a pain free, almost enjoyable experience.
I wanted to give a big shout out to the member of staff who took me to theatre & knew how nervous I was. She sat with me throughout the whole procedure and held my hand, which on the few times I drifted into being aware of what was going on, I was extremely grateful for. I didn't get chance to thank her, but I did ask the recovery nurse to do this for me. She was an absolute star.
My only negative would be for patients that live a distance away and need to be taken & collected from the hospital, it would be nice to have their husband etc with them, especially with how anxious I was. I was in a room on my own and it would have been nice to have him with me.
Overall an outstanding 5 star experience & I would hesitate to recommend Nuffield Hospital Cheltenham. Thank you

All staff were caring and professional. I could not have been in better hands.

Consultant was understanding, professional. I had all necessary information to make an informed decision with regards to surgery.

The surgery and after care has been exemplary.

Great care but non transparent pricing. The anaesthetist was changed on the day of the operation. The new anaesthetist charged more than the agreed rate with the insurance company and I was left to pay a three figure short fall. Nuffield would not take responsibility and blamed others including myself. Gloucestershire Anaesthetist Service (GAS) did refund me as gesture of good will but no explanation was given.

From the moment I called Nuffield they were so helpful and reassuring. My appointment was dealt with swiftly, and they were able to get me in. The receptionist was polite on the phone. When I turned up for my surgery, everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable of my visit. I was calmed with a relaxing coffee.
Surgery went well and I am now in a recovery state. Full marks for using my money I spent on this deserved.

I recently had a total knee replacement here, surgeon and anaesthetist were first class. In room care too was excellent. Room was adequate but could have been improved if it had a ‘walk in shower’ rather than over the bath which was impossible for me to use because of the knee surgery.

Visited a family member after her surgery, and from the moment we entered the building we were welcomed by wonderful staff and that continued throughout our three hour visit. The hospital was immaculate throughout and the care she received was outstanding. The complimentary tea & coffee were welcomed too.

Lovely reception staff, very friendly. No problem parking . Easy access via M5. Had a consultation for an op which was cosmetic surgery. I didn't feel rushed or pressurised. Very informative process looking forward to making a booking in the near future knowing I have made right decision with thanks to consultant knowing i would be in safe hands.

I had a wonderful experience coming here for my operation. My anaesthetist (Dr Mark Haslam) was very kind and went out of his way to help with me staying calm post-operation. My nurse Ellie was very kind, explained everything very well and considerate of my feelings and stress levels. Everyone who helped me (too many to name but including Jason, Alice, Di, Sarah amongst others) could not have done more. I wish I had the space to thank everyone individually. The staff here is so lovely. And the food was delicious - and they catered for dietary needs as I have allergies - which is nice considering you are in a hospital. As someone who has autism and gets very anxious this was the best experience it could be considering its an operation. And Dr Vellayan did an amazing job.
