It’s honestly really hard to get an appointment here it takes way too long. Even when you finally manage to get one, you’re often left waiting ages in the waiting room. I’ve never gone in at my actual appointment time it’s always been about an hour later. Also when I’ve had tests done like blood tests I don’t get any updates unless I chase them myself It just feels like communication and time management aren’t taken seriously which is frustrating especially when you’re not feeling well and need support.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the medical services I have recently experienced. Unfortunately, I have had to reschedule my appointment three times due to missed calls. On each occasion, I was unable to answer the phone in time, as the call was disconnected almost immediately. I specifically requested a face-to-face appointment, but was repeatedly informed that it would be a phone consultation. When I was finally prepared for the call, it did not take place as expected. Upon following up, I learned that it was indeed meant to be an in-person meeting. I have been attempting to reach my GP for nearly two months to see my ultrasound results, they decline me seeing the latter by saying I must first speak with the doctor first. I find this situation extremely frustrating and am disappointed with the level of service provided. I hope that my feedback can contribute to improvements in communication and patient care.

I can't say how pleased I am, that after paying my NI and taxes for over 40 years, to ring for an appointment to be told they're fully booked for
ALL next week. I was told to go to A&E! No wonder A&E are deluged.

I recently visited the emergency department, where a doctor recommended a referral to a pain clinic, and this was noted in the system. However, when I saw the GP, I was repeatedly asked why I was there, even though everything was already documented. I was in tears because of the frustration and how poorly I was treated. It was humiliating and made the whole experience much worse than it should have been. This needs to be handled much better in the future.

As a recovering cancer patient I was extremely nervous about getting another Pfizer vaccine as the last one gave me an infection. After speaking to Sue and her team I felt so much more confident. It is very difficult after a cancer journey to work out what your body will react to and Northgate have a specialist service for complex cases. How fortunate we are to have them in Kent. Thank you

Attempted to get a GP telephone consultation at 09.45 on Thursday.
Informed rather abruptly by female receptionist, " there's nothing, you'll have to phone in the morning."
At 08.00 Friday I was already 14 in the queue position when I managed to get through, pressed 1 for call back .
After over one hour, with no call back I went to the practice in person to enquire what was going on.
Receptionist informed me that it was very busy and perhaps the call back had not been reached yet!! Really?
Now advised to attend an urgent treatment centre or wait until Monday, saying , it's best to call at the practice by 08.00 if you are able to. Assuming the patient is mobile and has transport to.
What on earth is happening in primary care?
This practice used to be good.
Now, unfortunately it is poor trying to access a GP appointment.
All I ask is a telephone consultation from a GP.
Is it that difficult?
Certainly is proving a challenge that patient's should not have to undertake.
111 service would not be appropriate for an on going primary care issue that should be managed in your own practice where the condition is known to the GP already.

Just Shocking!!! Can never get an appointment because they keep turning off the econsult and when you ring up they haven’t got appointments either. When you do get an appointment you get very little help with most of the doctors. Perhaps if they stop taking on more patients… they might be able to care for the patients they have already got…!

One of the most ineffective surgeries I have ever come across. I have not received my blood test reports and it's been more than 12days that surgery has confirmed that they have the reports
