After a long wait for appointments to become available (par for the course I'm afraid) I commenced my counselling and with guidance from my counsellor Emma, I was able to navigate the process easily and make small gains each week. Using the materials provided and with commitment on both sides, I have been able to regain my confidence and have the tools to keep up the momentum after therapy ended. I can't thank Emma enough

I am quite surprised by the quality of this service. Having being involved in the administrative provision of counselling as a volunteer, I had ordinary expectations of the service that were not quite realised in practice. I do appreciate the complexity of counselling, but nonetheless feel that a counselling service should meet certain ill-defined norms.

I experienced a miracle in my eyes. I entered this service believing no one could help me, and with faith and patience, Jacqui Davies, helped me reach a better understanding of my problems. I have come away more confident and a little bit braver to explore my journey. I'm so very grateful I was matched with someone who was able to read me and save me from myself.

I can honestly say that having this service available has really changed me. I have for the first time been able to explore the issues I have in a safe, comfortable and understanding environment. The person who helped me was so kind and patient enabling me to open up. I would urge anyone who felts not right to ask for help. This has been life changing for me. Thank you.

I had therapy with Katherine Harrison and couldn't be happier. She was great, very warm and easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. At the conclusion of our sessions I felt a real difference had been made. 10/10 recommendation.

Finding support when you have Fibromyalgia can feel like searching for a unicorn—rare, elusive, and often disappointing. But the Chronic Conditions Support Group was my unicorn… with snacks! Even on my worst flare-up days, when everything hurt and just getting out of bed felt like climbing Everest, I always left our meetings feeling a little lighter, a little stronger, and a lot more understood. The kindness, laughter, and shared stories made all the difference. Now that the group is ending, I honestly don’t know where I’ll find the same kind of magic. It’s going to be tough to replace something—and some people—that helped so much.

I had therapy with Andy and employment support from Pauline. Both members of the teams were exceptional in their approach. My future is looking so much brighter as a result of the dedication from both these staff members. I have been through some really dark times and both Andy and Pauline have been an unwavering support system on my journey though therapy and employment support and I wish to thank both of them for being an integral part of my journey. I would highly recommend both service to anyone unsure of its benefits. It has been a source of light in a dark place and my future looks so bright as a result.
