Disgusting practice. Attended a dementia review with my brother. Signed in on the screen and sat watching everyone else go in.
Asked at reception why we were still waiting and she said you have not signed in! I said I am noyot stupid we signed in and it said marked as arrived! She wouldn't have it and said the doctor would not see us. Not great denying a dementia patient their appointment. Will be moving my brother to another surgery. This surgery is a joke

Asked at reception on the way out for
An appointment , I was told the end of
May is the earliest appointment I can
Give you, I said is that the best you can do, yes it is, is this what I paid national insurance for all 50 years of it,
Newsome surgery must rate the worst , in my opinion,
not just for this, but for years of awful patient care.

Trying to get Through on the phone this morning.
Is enough to get the Blood Pressure pumping.
Cut off continuously having to redial. Why can't they get a better telephone system No wonder A & E is
always full.

My family has been with this surgery for decades & all our interactions ( including recent ones) have been actioned immediately & with compassion & care. This has also been through both my parents' complicated & lengthy illnesses.
I would like to thank the surgery for this experience.

Rang 26 times before the phone machine even picked my call up. Then I had 40minutes listening to how they know I am waiting, my call is in a queue and will be answered shortly. I had to disconnect after this time as I have other things to do.
Tried ringing again later only to be on hold for a further 1 hour and 5 minutes before I had to hang up due to expecting another call.
Looks like I am going to have to go up there after work.

Reason of call: to reschedule an appointment with the nurse.

This is absolute terrible service and no other sector would get away with it. I always thought doctors surgery's had some sort of manager to over see the day to day running but I stand corrected.

Every time I call back I am on hold for 40 mins and end up having to hang up. This has happened six or seven times. It is not an acceptable wait time. Just appalling.
