The staff were 1st class, the procedure was painless, with the theatre staff extremely helpful and very professional, they are a credit to your company. Excellent service in a frendly and reasuring environment and the actual procedure was painless and took very little time.The team kept me informed at each stage of the operation and a clear eye protection was placed over my eye. Post operative eye drops were provided along with care advise. A very good experence throughout.

I selected Newmedica to deal with my cataract surgery and I was immensely impressed.

From start to finish they were professional, detailed and friendly. My initial appointment for assessment was made within a few days and surgery booked just 10 days later. Newmedica arranged for an Uber to collect me and take me home at no cost to me.

On arrival for surgery I was made to feel comfortable and everything was explained to me in detail by a friendly doctor and nurse. At each stage, my prescription, notes and concerns were dealt with. Some of this was repetitive but, it was comforting that they were ensuring, at each stage that there were no mistakes or misunderstandings. The surgery was painless.

After the short surgery, the surgeon sat with me over a cup of coffee and explained everything I needed to know in terms of aftercare and any questions I had. I was then sent on my way. 24 hours later I had a follow up call to ensure there were no issues that I was too hesitant to report.

Newmedica and their staff have been a pleasure to work with and I cannot fault their professionalism, service and care.

I have just recently had cataract surgery and both eyes and I wanted to share my experience with Newmedica which has been excellent. I never leave Google reviews but when I was looking for the "best" place for my surgery I did look at the reviews of various hospitals in Bristol and thought that this may help with your decision of where to have your cataract surgery.

My initial assessment was at their Langford centre and I had my operation and subsequent post operative assessment at Aztec Way. The staff at both locations were very professional, the examinations very thorough, communication before and after surgery and the aftercare follow ups were excellent.

On the day of the surgery I was welcomed by the reception team who were very friendly; the clinical team that get you prepared for surgery and support the operation were both professional and reassuring before and after surgery and the surgeon, Mr Keller, was brilliant, explaining what was happening during the key steps of the operation and it was over very quickly.

For those who want to know - it's not painful, it's not even uncomfortable it just feels weird but well worth going through the procedure it to have clear vision again!

My vision returned more or less to normal the following day.

Being an idiot I didn't read the "don't get water in your eye" advise when showering so on the day after the operation I had need to call their out of hours service because I panicked as I had slight blurry vision. The call was returned within minutes of leaving the message and their advisor gave immediate advice.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Newmedica, Aztec Way clinic highly enough and I'm really pleased that I went through with the procedure.
