I had my first cataract operation on 4/1/23, and despite being very anxious, the whole experience was a good one. All staff starting at Reception right through to operation itself, very smooth, and procedure only took 10 minutes. I now can't wait for right eye to be done, and won't be nervous this time. I cannot believe the difference this op has made, everything is so bright and clear, no pain,or discomfort. Thoroughly recommend it and Newmedica Brigg, thank you.

I do not recommend it, I have already been there twice only to be informed that there will be no visit. Let me start from the beginning, I had a consultation and cataract surgery booked by the NHS for Saturday, one way 50 miles, on site I was informed that they knew nothing about the visit, after the initial discussion it turned out that I had a telephone consultation, but at the end the lady said I showed her the letter and text message from nevmedica that I should have an appointment, but there is no doctor so there will be no appointment and she can make an appointment for Tuesday, so I go with my tongue on my chin because it's 50 miles one way, as it turns out when we get there there will be no visit either because it has been canceled, unfortunately the lady didn't know why there was no visit, why no one bothered to inform me by phone, she didn't know either, she just didn't hide the fact that she didn't care, I felt discriminated against because I'm not English, especially since she wanted to get rid of me , I heard how she referred to people in the clinic (honey, how can I help) I emphasize that I stay in her country legally, I work, I do not receive any benefits, I pay all contributions, and not a small one. We'll see, she scheduled another visit (third)

Had my right eye cataract removed on Thursday 24 January 2024 and once again they make you feel at home everyone from receptionist to surgeon were really lovely people so freindly I. Have my eyesight greatly improved now I can actually read a book without any discomfort I cannot thank everyone involved enough would recommend this surgery to anyone a big thank you to everyone at the surgery in brigg
