Counter staff are sullen and unhelpful pretty much every time I’ve been in there including today. None of them should be in a public facing role and they are VERY poorly trained even in the most basic of thing but mainly they just seem to aim to be as unhelpful as possible and show zero common sense. Pharmacists are pretty helpful if you ever get to speak to them.

I went to Newmans Chemist today 5.12.24 got ther just before 9am which should have been opening time,that's a joke,told by a male assistant they could not let me in to collect my medication due to the fact their pharmacist had not turned up, I am 75 years old and they left me out standing in the rain, told me I could go off and come back later, to which I replied sorry I can't do that, I did not want to go walkies in the rain and have to go back there, the male assistant was not helpful and didn't seem to care that I needed my medication,I think any decent human being would have let people wait in the shop until this pharmacist turned up instead of being left out in the rain, I did ask him what happens if this pharmacist did not turn up at all, his reply was well you won't be able to get your medication then, unfortunately i have to have my medication as I have high blood pressure,but that didn't seem to bother him, I will be making a complaint in there o my nxt visit, not a very happy bunny 😢

My experience with their service was terrible. When I went to pick up my prescriptions, the pharmacist initially claimed they had nothing. After some wasted minutes, she admitted the prescription was there but not ready. When I decided to wait, she informed me the pharmacist was on lunch break, suggesting I return after an hour. The service was rude, disgusting, and displayed a level of arrogance. Despite being the only customer waiting, their attitude was disappointing. Overall, it was a pathetic experience.
Karma is a boomerang. You reap what you sow. just keep in mind that.

The pharmacist refused to sell my pregnant wife an over-the-counter topical cream despite her being in visible discomfort. He was extremely smug and condescending, saying it was illegal to sell. We bought the same product without issue from Boots. Incredibly rude, bordering on unethical behaviour. Will be filing a report against the man.

I went today to collect my prescription an old woman with white hair in a pony tail sort of skinny ,was giving me a xenophobic look while signing my prescription papers, I asked for a glass of water as I had just come out of a MRI session which I told her and instead of being accommodating and pleasant she seemed to had an issue doing so as a customer regular patient in distress it seem clearly she couldn't be asked.. when I placed the remaining plastic glass of water on the counter for her to dispose, she rudely and dismissively asked me to throw the plastic glass of water myself and throw into the bin outside! There was only me and one other person! Inexcusable ! Simply disgusting she should be sacked!
It has not been the first time!
Interesting of all of more than justified unfavourable reviews I do not see any feedback with an apology that just speaks for itself...

Pharmacist was so rude, Doctor had obviously prescribed me incorrectly over the weekend and she refused to help. Basically said not my problem contact the surgery. Despite being aware how difficult it is to contact a surgery on a Monday. Didn’t offer any advise or help, even advised there’s no difference between a 20mg and a 50mg tablet for mental health. Absolutely no cause for concern at all, was happy for me to just swap to a different drug, just simply “wasn’t her problem”. Definitely moving pharmacy’s.

This will be the very last time you muck me about. You’ve given my daughter wrong tablets for me. Arrange delivery. Ignore my phone calls. You HAVENT been here. I haven’t managed to get out for over a month so don’t tell me I’m not in. Even if you did come why not POST the small box of medication. 17 years I’ve used you but I’ll be using a TRUSTY ONLINE RELIABLE SERVICE now as you are an actual joke of a company
