I attended the Newcastle Clinic for a Nerve root block last week. As a wheelchair user I was unsure how I would manage the procedure but I needn't have worried. On arriving I was put at ease by the reassuring nurses who were very kind. Dr. Bhatnagar explained the procedure and I found the injections much more comfortable than I imagined they would be she was also very kind. We were really well looked after. Thankyou all.

I was initially nervous about having an MRI scan after having an awful experience in a tunnel scanner as I'm claustrophobic. The staff here are so understanding and calming. The open scanner is brilliant as you can see around the room and the staff ensure you're comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone anxious ?

Absolutely amazing service here.
Was sent here from Middlesbrough, due to being a large guy and claustrophobic. From the moment I entered I felt welcome. The staff are amazing.
I had a bit of a wait because patient transport, dropped me off about an hour before my appointment time. The clerk was brilliant. We spoke about all sorts. When my time came to get scanned, the nurse and radiographer, explained everything to me and we had a giggle.
Unfortunately, I was too big for the scanner so I couldn't get it done but if I could have i would have. Wasn't nervous in the slightest.
I'm agoraphobic too and suffer from sever anxiety. From beginning to end. A perfect service.

What an absolutely amazing Clinic...

I require steroid injections for pain that I get around my kidneys, and usually I'd have them done at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead. However, I needed them done fairy soonish, as I'm going on holiday soon.

I arrived early to the clinic, and before I could sit down in reception, I was taken straight through.
I got changed, had my stats done, and got taken through for my procedure straight away.
All of the staff; receptionists, nurses, radiologist, consultant, where absolutely fantastic. They looked after me, talked to me, and made me feel like a person rather than a patient.
After, they looked after me and made sure I was ok before going home.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital are always amazing, but if I had to travel to the Newcastle Clinic again for my injections, I most definitely would.

Thank you very much. They've been brilliant.

feeling very anxious & frightened leading up to my MRI due to being Claustrophobic, well I finally had my appointment today. The 2 members of staff who did the scan were absolutely brilliant, they explained everything and were very friendly, I managed to get through my scan without any anxiety at all, thank you so much u are both stars.

Had a fantastic experience here for an open MRI scan having been referred due to suffering anxiety and claustrophobia with the 'coffin' MRIs. The staff were very friendly and explained everything, I wasn't rushed at all. Thank you!

Got a threatening appointment letter saying i would be charged £50 if i missed an appointment after a car accident ( not my fault ). Organised time off work for the appointment they then changed the time and i had to sort out cover again, less than 24 hours before my appointment the doctor called to say he needed to change the appointment time again and I tried to explain that I couldn't mess work around again but he didn't want to know and ended the call by saying i wont be there for the agreed time and i will be in about 30-40 minutes late. Not what i expected from a private medical clinic.
