I had been suffering with undiagnosed carpal tunnel syndrome for a number of years, to the point where it was affecting my daily abilities.
Dr Harley was very meticulous in his assessments and identified the problem and operated on me. The operation was extremely quick and I felt in very safe hands and well looked after. I cannot recommend and thank him enough. Since the operation, all of my hand pain has completely eradicated and I am no longer restricted or limited in my daily activities or work.

Dr Hartley did a great job with the surgery on my hand. He explained everything to me in a very clear manner and kept me informed as to what was going to happen.
He made me feel at ease before and during the procedure and followed up afterwards letting me know the results of my tests and to check that my recovery was going well.

Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience with this surgeon. Spent 5 mins in consultation and paid £150 to be told nothing can be done in my case (something I hadn't even considered). I did get the impression he hadnt had a great day the moment I walked in as I felt very much like a distraction to his day rather than a potential patient.
I did attempt to reach out in an email to address these concerns directly but this was ignored.

Moral of story for those of you who are looking to use Mr Harley, don't do what I did and select based on his bio and reviews. Please try to speak to him or his office before setting up an appointment and parting with you hard-earned (although that might be easier said than done!)

After lots of research I booked an initial consultation with mr Harley . As soon as I met him I knew I wanted him to be my surgeon . I was able to book my surgery within a few months and communication was great . Mr Harley was very thorough at explaining what to expect from results etc . The care from the team at the Mcindoe centre was amazing and even after the surgery everyone was available any time . My results speak for themselves and have completely changed my life .
