Appalling treatment by this team. My CPN from this team told lies on my reports and twisted the narrative. I am in the process of trying to have my records amended because of this individual. They stalled moving myself onto aripiprazole from paliperidone despite telling myself that i could switch at any time. They play dirty and power monger. They also insisted I attend an appointment on a day that I had college despite myself telling them that Thursdays were out of the question to attend appointments.

I was under an excellent doctor at this place and he suddenly left and was replaced by someone who lacked listening skills and competence.

If I could give it a lower star rating then I would. They call themselves a primary mental health "care" team... Don't make me laugh!!!
Don't get me wrong, I've had 1 lovely nurse there that was kind and helpful and the receptionist is lovely but everyone else is absolutely abysmal!
Sat waiting for an appointment last week and a doctor was chatting to another nurse about how his cousin had just commented suicide FFS! All in earshot of people waiting. The phone is CONSTANTLY ringing off the hook while they chitchat and gossip.
I've never felt so ignored by a mental health team...

Been under them for well over a decade. They are a drain on the NHS. Staff say the place has changed, it hasn't. They get the odd great nurse or doctor and then suddenly they will leave (I don't blame them). My psychiatrist just up and left out of the blue and NOBODY contacted me to let me know until I was sat in the waiting room to be seen by said psychiatrist. I had an amazing CPN who asked me to trust the duty care as the place had changed but if I wanted to talk to her, I could ask and she would be more than happy to look after me. Long story short, I called, duty called back, said they couldn't hear me and would call me back (I'm still waiting for that callback about 6 weeks later). I called 2 weeks after calling in crisis that time asking to speak to the CPN who said she would look after me... she's left!!! Gone. About a month after telling me she'd still be there and me being promised because I was so untrusting of the service.

I literally do not know who to turn to now because everybody lets me down. I'm sat here sobbing because I'm trying so hard to get well for my kids and engaging with any services and they ALL fail but Moss House are particularly excellent at failing patients. I honestly cannot understand why they are still being funded.

Appalling place. Was under them for 4 months, never saw a doctor despite being in crisis. They have a system of getting you 'assessed' by psychologist which is just a way to claim to meet targets for starting psychology treatment, but actually it's just an appointment where you are told you will wait 3-6 months for psychology. Nurse Jenny never showed up for planned appointments, never got my meds reviewed despite saying she would. Moss house refused to change my nurse as it would be 'doing a disservice to their staff'. I was eventually sectioned and admitted to hospital. Inpatient consultant asked Moss house to give me a different nurse and said I needed psychology. Moss house told the judge at my tribunal they would give me a different nurse, but then when it came to my discharge from hospital they said I had to have the same nurse or have nothing. No triage system to their psychology waiting list, I waited in exactly the same place in the queue despite my inpatient stay. I self discharged from them due to the damage they were causing me. This place is a waste of limited NHS resources, people would be better off on their own than being constantly let down.

I was admitted to clockview hospital before Christmas for 5 weeks.
I was told that moss street would continue my treatment and they would be in touch with me.

I waited a month my GP cared for me and wrote to Merseycare on 2 occasions and received no response.
After a second month I received a letter with a appointment. I turned up for my appointment on time only to be told that the psychiatrist would not be in that day and they would rearrange my appointment.
Still waiting for either a phone call or appointment by letter.

This is a modern world and the telephone was invented a long time ago but it appears that the staff at moss street haven’t been trained in how to answer this new fangled apparatus.

One afternoon last week I tried for 3 hours to get in touch regarding my treatment but to no avail I do wish someone would show anyone in moss house how to answer the telephone even if it is a fellow patient who somehow managed to get a letter from the pope and got an appointment.

A very disgruntled sick person I was going to call myself a patient but as nobody has even seen me I doubt I can call myself a patient.

K wright.

Had my physical disabilities questioned in an absolutely disgusting manner. Had my mental health questioned. Was told if I was REALLY suicidal I'd have succeeded. Had me, my home, my illnesses ridiculed and when I reacted was told I was threatening and they refused to help. Mental health care doesn't exist. It's simply a way to mistreat people who are vulnerable. Disgusting behaviour from people who should never be near the job in the first place. Avoid at all costa.

I have had nothing but great care, I really dont understand the negative reviews. Sometimes people expect too much from places like this.

It did take a while to get an appointment but I expected this as we are in a pandemic but I had some great conversations with a psychiatrist there and got onto a medication for my anxiety. he set expectations and stuck to when he said he would call.

very happy with my care from here

Can't fault this place always there when in time of need there's always someone on duty every day for urgent call backs or call outs, i would be lost without the care of the people that work here I have my favourites. but in truth they are all amazing in everything they do. For people saying bad things about the staff they can't perform miracles and make us all better, they do what they can with the tools there given.
