My daughter has recently changed GP practice to this one, and is still waiting for her first appointment to see a GP. She has to have strong medication for her anxiety and depression and they have written the wrong script and have no interest in helping her get it changed. The receptionist has no empathy or consideration for what my daughter is going through and just keeps saying in parrot fashion ‘You need to go online and then wait for someone to call you back’. Everyone I have spoken too about this surgery says that it is easier to get a golden ticket for Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory than get an appointment to see a GP. I wish she had never moved there.

Never seem to want to see anyone these days
Filled an online consult form for my Asthmatic son as he has been up all night coughing with what he thinks is another chest infection. ( was hospitalised last time) He missed the call as he dozed off after being awake most of the night coughing. He called back once he was awake explaining he missed the call only to be told the nurse who called him earlier has gone home it wasn't even 2:45pm.

Was simply told to fill out another online consult form tomorrow morning.

What's the deal with nurse calling does anyone get to speak to a doctor these days. This system is a joke. The surgery is always empty when I pop into pick things up from the chemist attached.

I am happy to leave a positive review of this practice. Getting an appointment is very simple now the online booking system is in place, and I normally get a confirmation within the hour. The doctors are all friendly, and helpful and I never feel rushed. Great service.

To get any form of appointment you need to complete an online digital triage with an medically untrained admin. If you managed to convince this person of your need for help you may be lucky enough to be granted a phone call with a nurse, paramedic, pharmacist, physio or, in extreme circumstances, a duty GP more than two weeks later.

The booking e-consult system is terrible. It takes weeks to get an appointment and when you do, you are booked an out of hours telephone consultation with a Dr who is limited to what they can do.

When you finally get to actually see a Dr face to face at the surgery. They are insensitive, impatient and passive aggressive. They are in a position of privilege. Busy or not, we all deserve to be treated with respect and patience when vulnerable.

This surgery and the staff working at it cannot provide the basics all patients need. Care, patience and respect.

I'm new to the area and also in my second trimester of pregnancy, I was astonished when I heard the booking and registering system they have on place. It was so cold and disconnected and so unreliable why on earth would anyone want to untrust this surgery with their own health. I didn't even know they was allowed to conduct themselves that way as medical practioners. My old surgery puts this one to shame!!! This should not even be up and running like this.

I find all the staff and the doctors and nurses to have your best interest at heart I agree not everyone has a good day all of the time. considering they are dealing with people that are unwell or needing some kind of help. At the moment I have complex health needs so I'm often either on the phone or in the surgery and I can quite honestly say that the staff have always treated me with the upmost respect and consideration and have tried their best to help me or point me in the right direction . I have been with this surgery now for 3 years and believe you me there are surgeries out there that are horrendous so my advice is if you don't like the service or the way they provide that service then go to another doctor's and free up space for those who need it .

I called Moorswalk GP this afternoon and spok to very helpful lady called Jackie/Jaqui She was very polite and her tone of voice was calm. She wanted to help and she did with my enquiry. Bring more people like her to GP practice on front desk.
