Both my parents have been badly let down by Minch surgery. Repeated visits were just fobbed off as old age. They both had to pay for private tests and diagnosis and now have serious diseases that could have been treated earlier or slowed down if they had been taken seriously by the apathetic doctors. Complete lack of duty of care.

When I read the negative reviews I wonder whether the writers actually attend the same surgery as myself. I have been seen by nearly all the available doctors at different times and find them all very very helpful. That also goes for the rest of my family. All of us are well looked after here. Likewise we cannot fault the reception , prescription and nursing staff.

Been fighting for a decade to have lumps from my neck and ears removed have had big flare ups and cause big mental health problems yet dr Simpson the skin specialist lol dr weir and dr cooper couldn’t care less because they care about the bugget and how much money they make utter disgrace to humanity.

The staff are exemplary. I have received the best of care despite all the problems the NHS is experiencing.

Aphetic, unhelpful and surly receptionist made me hate calling luck of the draw which one you would get. Some Drs lack understanding of mental health and were generally unhelpful. Moved to Five Valleys and found the customer service and bedside manner much better overall. Some Drs were very good.

Reception staff are friendly, caring and have really helped me at difficult times. Dr Beard is quite simply outstanding. At a difficult time for the NHS I think what they achieve is remarkable.

Phone calls always answered promptly. Both my children have been seen for appointments when I have expressed a health concern. Call backs when promised. Thanks to all staff, we are very lucky to have a surgery dedicated to providing such high standards of care.

I’ve held off because I’ve hoped they would improve and give better service to my family and friends but it hasn’t happened. This surgery is archaic, as evidenced whenever you try to book an appointment or sign in upon arrival. The wait times are wild for a local place, my family waited 45 minutes today, for an appointment that’s pre-scheduled and should be respected. I remember waiting over an hour when I used to be a patient here, that was every time. I’m posting this as a warning to anyone who has family in the area because I don’t think they’re giving the quality of care required. I’ve been registered here since birth and would love to support the surgery but I cannot until they get their administration sorted, and get their GPs some training to handle cases that are outside of typical colds/elderly medicine. You have a duty of care, please do better.
