My elderly father has been poorly lately and I have had to contact the surgery several times for help and advice. They have all been amazing, so helpful and kind. Nothing is too much trouble. I hope all patients registered with this practise appreciate what they have as it's a completely different experience in Yeovil.

I have not experienced any issues at this surgery although I suspect that maybe other people have. I have always found the staff and doctors helpful with my and my wife’s medical issues. There has been a few problems with obtaining some of my wife’s medication but life isn’t exactly trouble free is it, so all in all a great practice to be associated with!

I came into the practice yesterday and witnessed the lady who was dealing with prescriptions shouting and banging on the table after every word in her sentence at a man who was concerned that he coundnt get his 3 year olds childs medicine time and time after trying.( which his own words where, my son could die without his medicine ) He was worried but not aggressive or swearing. she had no compassion at all and was visibly very nasty. i coulndt believe what i was seeing and hearing. so much so that i felt compelled to write this review. i shall also be making an official complaint. if the gentleman sees this, i would be more than happy to be an independant witness to the events that took place. this happened on the 13th of june 2024. Now the pharmacist lady seemed to be stressed herself or just a nasty person, but even if she was stressed and had some problem in life you do not speak to people like this when all they want is an answer. The man also asked how he could make a complaint, He even said not about you but about the system, which i thought was very fair seen as her behaviour. She told him he cant. He then laughed and said, so you dont have a complaints system and she lied to his face and said no!

The best GP practice I have ever been to. Everyone from the receptionists and the pharmacist, to the doctors and nurses, are kind, polite and reassuring, and they listen. I have lived with a chronic health condition all my life and have rarely come across the standard of care that I receive at the Milborne Port Practice. Thank you so much.

Trying to make a formal complaint on behalf of my husband who is dyslexic, but this practice just never does anything it promises to. The practice Manager after a lengthy complaint call made promised to get Dr Wyre to call my husband to try and resolve his concerns. 3 weeks now and no call.. They have failed at every turn even prescribing drugs which nearly killed my husband not that they made any notes on this to avoid reoccurance!. Thats at least twice now they have left him for dead.. Promises to follow up things never happens. 9 mths out of 12 the repeat prescriptions were wrong, not ready etc. Chronic illness is enough to deal with, letalone having a completely useless gp who proffers 0 support asking what you want them to do for you! Never admitting their mistakes and just saying if you do not like it go elsewhere!! The innocent patient is not at fault here. I just do not know where to turn., finding him an advocate is impossible and it's making my chronic illness exacerbated by stress much worse.. what to do now...

First class surgery perfectly clean easy to access blood pressure machine and scales Staff are always friendly and go out of their way to help doctors are efficient and do respond to telephone requests I wouldn't change I had nothing b u t good service there for the last eight years

This surgery goes above and beyond. Nothing is ever too much bother and there always a kind smiling face or a calming voice at the end of the phone . Unfortunately the complications in this country that have lead to over worked and underfunded NHS practices have made the delivery of patient care very streched.
NOT hear , this is one of the only places left I believe in the country that still has that calm homelike vibe. Your known by name , they don't let the patient burden the strain of the economy instead they give there time and empathy on a one to one basis . I believe over the 4years I was living hear this surgery doctors and all staff probably had a massive part to play in saving my life if it wasn't for them and all they do and give I think my life would be in a different place . I've been to several different drs over the years and Milborne Port has exceeded every one. The my gp service is good and makes getting the appointment/call/assistance needed very easy. The site is very clean and tidy and all the staff I have met have always been very kind, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. When I hear the horror stories from family and friends of their experiences with their own Dr since lockdown I've felt incredibly lucky to be at Milborne Port
