Still waiting for meds from December and still not being authorised. Doctors don’t listen or help in anyway whatsoever. Staff are rude and think they own the place and that is not only my opinion when you talk to others. My meds were supposed to be increased months ago due to hospital instructions but this has been ignored as usual. Time for this surgery to be investigated at a higher level and lots of changes made. I am definitely taking this above the surgery due to lots of issues over the past years to present.

What a joke. No appointments for 5 weeks. She started to look and then colleague said something to her and I was then told no appointments for 5 weeks. No wonder tgey have a bad reputation. If you are a regular you get in straight away. Needs a good shake up. This is why A&E IS is always full only way you can get sorted.

One thing about Middleton Lodge practice that is disturbing to me till now is the failure of adding /linking my little children medical profile to that of both parents.
For more than a year we have made requests up to three times and we are still waiting, they do not realise how stressful it is to keep calling or coming to the surgery just to order medication.
My husband just came back from the surgery not long ago something I could have done from the comfort of my home as l do mine.
I am writing this review because it is faustrating and stressful and the thought of starting the process all over again and not still sort out seems to me as trying to turn red colour to white.
Unfortunately it is a reallity and it is sad to say.

I had to add to this review, its so shocking that 111 needs to be called before an argument appointment can be made for minor with serious symptoms.
A minor that sometimes need steroid to support her asthma had to refuse going to the gp after being denied appointment twice, first the surgery asked that 111 be called and 111 said to call the surgery again because it was an emergency and the surgery was called the second time and the receptionists said the child should go to a&end and then the child was called to come to the surgery the child refused because the child already see that discrimination was done and see the medical system as a failed one if minor with serious health issues as asthma are neglected, what is said to be one of the potential health issues that can result in the the lost of life.
As a parent disappointed is an understatement due to an experience of the same child been admitted for the same issue and same neglect from a gp surgery 5 years ago.
This surgery can do better especially looking into the individual health records, they should know better when it is an emergency.

One receptionist that works there Rachel Barnish I believe, she has an Australian accent is the rudest and most unhelpful person I have ever dealt with, the manager needs to look at the staff because this individual is ruining the practice, you close for staff training which is ridiculous and still get nowhere more likely staff chatting not training, as for the actual doctors at this practice they don't care at all about there patients, if you speak your mind your told to go elsewhere for care or warned over trying to actually get them to do something, this practice has ruined lives with there negligence and being extremely unempathetic, I agree with the other reviews this practice should be closed, or at least reshuffled and some proper doctors brought in that actually give a crap about you. My friend was put on a high dose of extremely addictive medication by this practice with no one sitting down to explain the problems with getting addicted, and now they are fully dependant on the pills and needing more and more to get the same results they are treated like some crack head by the doctors, the treatment they recieve and the attitude of the doctors is disgusting, not one of them ever thinks to help this person get free it's these pills, all they say is call the drugs clinic "again like a smack head" they take absolutely zero responsibility for creating this issue, my friend is a completely different person now than they were before the pills and they hate themselves and what they have become, there whole life is ruined and in limbo thanks to this practice and not one doctor there cares at all, they just tell them to go somewhere else, "it's like someone dropping a granade then walking away from the bang". TERRIBLE.

BASICALLY DON'T EXPECT ANY HELP FROM THESE PEOPLE HERE WHO CALL THEMSELVES GPS.

Called up because worried I may have skin cancer, as not sure what is going on and the receptionist said apparently “ we have no pre booking available appointments you must call at 8am” its not like im worried or anything and that in my family there is alot of us that has had it and sadly passed away, but its okay because apparently something so serious has to wait till anther day okay 🤦‍♀️

The staff I believe are doing their best, but the doctors practice is outdated and not big enough to cover the medical needs of the people registered there. They need more GPs and staff plus I on another level of thought it might be good to become another training practice for Nottinghamshire area etc and benefit from finding permanent doctors and maybe help push for a bigger practice

Would not have given one star but you have to. Middleton lodge are utterly useless. Every time my partner phone's up the receptionists are so unhelpful. You will speak to one person and they haven't updated the system. So when you go in again to collect forms there's no information on the computer. And they don't know what you've gone in for.as we are moving out the area to another doctor's my partner is still under this doctor but can't get a sick note. So we have to wait 3 weeks for new doctor's now thanks you for your t
incompetent staff. Don't use these doctors

Second time being at this surgery and they are a complete joke and should be closed. They do not care for patients. I have written complaining about the care I am receiving to which I have just received a letter telling me that basically they do not care and to go else where for a GP practice. As I understand NHS services are strained but there is no need to have this attitude of rudeness towards patients. The practice is inadequate and therefore should not be running at all.
