I have had a very good experience with this surgery. I went to speak about changing bowel habits and the doctor referred me for tests which resulted in the discovery of a tumour. I honestly think with a different doctor I wouldn't have had the courage to say what my problem was and I really commend this doctor for her swift action, especially as at the age of 39, cancer probably wouldn't have been the most obvious cause. Since then, I've had dealings with the nurses - Kim and her colleague were great and really put me at ease when dealing with a wound that came about after surgery to remove the tumour. I was sent away after a couple of visits with my own supplies and clear instructions on how yo care for the wound myself. I also have regular contact with the reception staff around my prescription supplies which come from a national pharmacy. Yes, there have been a few mistakes but they've always tried their best to help me and I've never found them rude or dismissive. The best way to get an appointment (although I don't think it works for urgent ones) is to fill in the PATCHS request form and they call you back with a few options. I wouldn't ever consider changing surgery after all they have done for me. I am very grateful.

4 days to see a doctor it’s 8am Thursday nothing available til Monday 11.40am all receptionist could say was I could go to a walk in! Was offered same sometime ago - to go to walk in by receptionist. And at that time they had a poster on desk looking for new patients! Can’t service the patients they have.

These receptionest was so unhelpful 5 days before my boyfriend died we was both sick and i tried to get us some help i was just starting to cry my eyes out because they said its nothing we can i was so weak from throwing up for nearly a week hardley slept and very dehydrated and they did absolutely nothing and now if im that sick again i will never phone the doctors because they simpley don't help would not recommend get out of these doctors while you still can!

My granddaughter is type 1 diabetic and had an infection in two of her toes ( dangerous for diabetic) her mum rang for an appointment. No appointments available and if she deemed it urgent enough to take her to a drop in centre. She was taken to a drop in centre where only one clinician available the wait was well over two hours, at check in they were appalled that a GP had refused her an appointment as they would be aware of the dangers of infection in her toes along with her lowered immune system.
We waited and have to say the whole process although long was extremely professional.
I wrote an email to the GP expressing my concern. I received a response a lot of word salad about the issues the surgery is facing, I responded to the email but in all honesty not my problem, they have a duty of care first and foremost to the patients. I received no response to the second email (unprofessional I know)
So then I sent a further email requesting that my complaint be escalated again no response and the staff expect respect when they don't have the common decency to respond to complaints, just shows how little respect that they have for their patients and their needs. No wonder patients become frustrated and angry when dealing with receptionists who come across as rude and have no time to listen to what is being said to them.
Coming from a family that work and have worked within the NHS on numerous levels both in surgeries and hospitals have to say they are also concerned about the level of care my granddaughter received.

Difficult to get appointments. Mix up in prescription and prescriptions not ready on time also items taken off your prescription without the surgery ring you up or texting to see if you still require these items

Deceptive, rude staff trying to blame me for their error and then sent me an official warning for aggressive behaviour! Contacted reception for a same day appt for my 4yr old, received a text confirmation with time of appt but to respond if it wasn't suitable. Arrived at surgery at the appt time with my 4yr old to be told I hadn't confirmed the appt so it had been given to someone else!
I have been discriminated against numerous times by the admin staff previously and have raised complaints but nothing has changed.

My husband went today for results they sent for him the in his notes it was flagged for dr to read scan results first dr said why are you here husband sId you sent for me with scan results dr I'm not a neurologist why should I understand results husband came out confused an worried when we went on to his NHS notes we understood them it said this man needs to be on the cancer pathway if he has not be told he needs to be yet this so called gp could not explain or understand this! We are now in limbo as we don't know who to contact for help
