Fantastic Experience at Manchester Private Hospital – Eyelid Reduction Surgery

I had my facial moles removed with Dr. Purbey and the results have been brilliant. In a month, they've all healed back cleanly, flat, and with no complications. All the staff members throughout have been incredibly polite and professional. Would highly recommend for anyone else looking to have a similar procedure done.

I had 360 vaser liposuction with Dr Purbey 4 months ago. I am absolutely over the moon with the results and my only regret is not doing it sooner. The care I received at MPH both before, during and after the surgery has been amazing. The doctors here actually care about the end result and not just about the money. I initially wanted my legs doing too but during my consultation, Dr Purbey advised that he didn't think I needed it. He could have just gone ahead to get more money from me, but didn't. Going clothes shopping is enjoyable now, whereas before, I'd often leave shops in tears.

Trust the process. Do what they tell you and GET THE LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGES! This is so incredibly important and has made my body look so much better.

The pain afterwards was nowhere near as bad as I'd imagined and I was put under general anaesthetic (at my request) as I can't tolerate pain!

I debated about getting this done for years and finally decided to go for it last year. I honestly wish I hadn't waited so long. My only advice is to get it done in Winter. You HAVE to wear a compression garment 24/7 for around 8 weeks. You do not want to be doing that in Summer.

If you're on the fence about it, trust me, get it done. Dr Purbey is a genius and I'm so grateful for new body!

Every single member of staff at star clinic is exceptional. When you go to star clinic and meet Mr Marando you soon realise he is a man of perfection and high standards and this shows in his work. My treatment from start to finish was above and beyond amazing and I could not be happier with the results. I had the New Mia Femtech and the results are better than I could have ever imagined and the quick recovery and next to no pain was just amazing. Mr Marando is honestly outstanding and incredible at what he does and I wouldn’t wish to go anywhere else but his clinic. Thanks to the entire Star clinic team. I had the best experience I could wish for here. I was so nervous but they looked after me from start to finish. I had vaser liposuction on my Hips and abdomen. And wow the results were just what I wanted. All staff made me feel welcome and at ease. My surgeon was Anuj Purbey and he is so nice and wants to give you the best out come for your body. He talked me through everything and made me feel like I am in the best hands. And he was right. He has the best help from his pa Marie. She kept in contact through out my pre and post op surgery and gave me the support and answered any questions. I would recommend this place to anyone and if I wanted more ops. Thank you for changing my life in the best possible way and making me have the confidence in life I needed.

If 0 star was possible I would give-STAY CLEAR of this filthy and unprofessional ‘hospital’ it is absolutely disgusting how they treat patients and the hospital its self is very unhygienic. As seen in attached pictures that is another patients urine sample and pregnancy test left in the ward bathroom along with thick dust hair, and stains from probably other patients bodily fluids -No wonder patients pick up infections whilst being under their care. I have been left botched for life after undergoing 2 surgeries with MPH a decision I will live to regret for the rest of my life. Go else where for cosmetic procedures MPH are a disgrace

I have recently had breast surgery with Mr Shah, I cannot recommend him and the team at MPH enough. I have wanted this surgery for years but incredibly nervous following bad experiences with healthcare in the past. Due to this I did endless research into hospitals, surgeons, techniques etc. Prior to meeting Mr Shah I had several consultations elsewhere at highly rated hospitals with well recognised surgeons in the cosmetic surgery industry none of which filled me with as much confidence as Mr Shah. One thing I really want to point out is the lack of reviews on Mr Shah and his work really doesn’t do this doctor justice, which is a real shame! Booking my video consultation and later face to face consultation two weeks prior to surgery was effortless, informative and efficient - I was able to schedule a surgery date that suited around my work commitments. I knew after my initial discussion with Mr Shah I had made the right choice and he would be the person to make my dreams come true the safest possible way. Mr Shah is very professional and a perfectionist, he made me feel at ease and explained everything well. I was never pressured into any decisions, I found this very different to other places I had visited which was off putting straight away. These are big decisions and not something to be made whilst feeling under pressure from a rep trying to sell a quick boob job whilst lacking compassion.
On the day of the surgery I was understandably nervous, when I got to the hospital a lovely nurse introduced himself and took me through to my private room. Where two other nurses were very attentive and discussed my procedure, I had a final measure up with Mr Shah and met the Anaesthetist. The anaesthesia was the part I was most worried about following past experiences. Mr Abdou (Samy) the Anaesthetist was simply amazing. I explained my concerns and he comforted me explaining how my anxiety was normal because it’s not something I do everyday but for him it was a walk in the park he does this daily. This was really simple but so effective. I walked to theatre with the assistant / nurse, who along with Mr Abdou quickly put me to sleep in what felt like seconds I didn’t have time to worry or panic, I was calm and relaxed - under these circumstances this is not like me. This is most of what I remember but I remember vividly just how calm and safe I felt and for that I was so grateful.
The surgery went well, I was cared for afterwards by two ward nurses who were compassionate and professional. I knew I was still in the safest hands. My follow up appointments with nurse Carla have been fantastic, she too is very caring and understanding.
Now I have seen my results, Mr Shah has done an incredible job and when I say made my dreams come true he really has. He has changed my life, I never thought I would feel confident to be without a bra again following weight fluctuations and children. I am so pleased with the results and can look in the mirror without the feeling of embarrassment and upset. This hasn’t just improved my physical appearance but mentally too I feel incredible. I genuinely can’t ever recall a time I was happy with my body or even in any clothes that looked nice with overly large / heavy breasts that quite often caused muscular back pain. For the first time in my life I can look at myself in a mirror and feel happy. I do have plans for further surgery, I hope this too will be achievable with Mr Shah and his amazing team.

If I could give it a zero I would!
Went in for lipoma removal on Friday and the surgeon has cut a vessel. Which has resulted in constant bleeding. He panicked and never had a clue on what to do. So he pressed the side of my head for atleast two hours!. They then bandaged my head but the bleeding still wouldn't stop. So they rang Salford hospital for an ambulance and just expected them to turn up when they were available. The procedure should have only taken half an hour to 45 mins but they took two hours and then called the ambulance. I have been to my local A&E and will need time off work. The side of my head is stitched up my face has a cut which is STILL bleeding. Swollen and black eyes. The scars will remain there forever and the lipoma has not been removed. The whole procedure has been a nightmare.
