I read many reviews giving 1 star over silly things and chasing prescriptions but I have had nothing more than excellent service from doctors, receptionists and nurses.
Same day appointments I have always managed to get along with repeat prescriptions done within a day or 2 and never have to chase so this surgery is an excellent. The people that give 1 star reviews have no concept of how busy the surgery is and never leave good reviews when the service is good which I am sure will be 99% of the time. We live in a world of people who love to moan and complain. This surgery is the best I have been too and have amazing staff.

Can't fault reception or nurses at all, however it's a waste of time seeing any doctors with our 1 year old. Basic child illnesses don't exist that go round nursery regularly. Information relating to symptoms are never listened to and even though they are listed on the nhs website, the website is wrong apparently. No clue about anything and fobbed off with "it's just a virus it'll get better", 24 hours later and a trip to A&E on 4 occasions came away with antibiotics for various infections.

I am extremely frustrated at these doctors. Time and time again I am chasing prescriptions that have been ordered online but are still with the doctors even after the due date as passed. It's absolutely unprofessional and unfair to keep holding on to prescriptions which have been originally prescribed by consultants from the pain clinic.
This isn't an isolated incident either. I don't have a problem with the receptionists or admin staff as they are and have been very helpful. It's the doctors who think they can go above a consultant.

The chemist has no further 2mg Diazepam prescriptions since dispensing 1 week other 27gh December.
Despite myself trying to get the Dr to sign my usual monthly prescription he has left me in he'll since Friday.
I'm Monthly prescribed but it's distributed WEEKLY.
So the one I collected on the 27th was obviously the last of that 4 weeks prescriptions.
Also, why does everybody assume and have previously messed up my EXTREMELY important prescription because an assumption is made that 28 pills = 28 days.
I am on 28mg a week.
2 x 2mg twice a day.
I have been close to seizure twice, I've had Nora Virus as a result of my Father collapsing outside on Boxing Day.
Can somebody PLEASE see this is wrong.
If I was due last friday 3rd of January as it should state why is this not easily resolved when the danger is of such impact?
6th January approx 2.30am I collapsed attempting to go to the toilet.
I was now in FULL ON WITHDRAWAL THAT CAN KILL ME PLUS DIAGNOSED NORA.

You have one beautiful soul, very COMPASSIONATE AND UNDERSTANDING RECEPTIONIST UNLIKE THE DOCTORS WHO JUST NEED TO SIGN A 5 days OVERDUE .PRESCRIPTION THAT HAS ME BED RIDDEN BECAUSE OF THE DOCTORS INABILITY TO HAVE A HUMAN SIDE YET YOU GET PAID A FORTUNE.
SOMEONE WILL END UP DYING, ITS POSSIBLE THATS ME DUE TO SEIZURES

Very dangerous!!!! My grandfather who sadly passed away at the end of July had to be moved to this surgery in February 23 as he went to live in residential care. He walked into the care home at 91 years old in February and is no longer with us now. This is down to lack of care on all parts. My grandfather suffered utis and had to have his kidneys checked. The old surgery did this with blood tests. The family kept asking this surgery to check him and do the blood tests but they kept getting refused. He deteriorated a lot and still nothing was done, we had to fight even to get him checked. Fast forward a few months and my grandfather actually got rushed to hospital, we later found out he had sepsis. This was caused by bed sores so not only important tests were missed for his health those tests could have found the infection before it went to sepsis. I then ask the question why were the sores left to get into that state. He had one once at home and it got dressed, treated and cleared up in a week or so. My grandfather was left in great pain with open sores, it’s disgusting. All it would have taken was a phone call to the district nurse to get them to dressed. He went into hospital and 5 weeks later still has the sores, I managed to get a distinct nurse to dress them myself so why couldn’t the surgery request this in the first place. He also had thrush in his mouth for 8 weeks which caused him horrendous pain. These are things that can been seen yet the bare minimum was done and he got left. My family and I will never forgive this surgery or Dr Gopi for the part they played in my grandfathers decline and the pain he had to endure at the end of his life.

Apart from the receptionists who are generally lovely, I’ve had negative experiences with this surgery. Avoid!
On one occasion I’ve been waiting 40 minutes for an appointment, to be called in and told they can’t go ahead because the previous GP did not fill it in correctly?
I have also been in regarding my mental health, where the doctor asked me ‘do you look in the mirror and just see a nasty face?’ (which I didn’t feel appropriate) and he had proceeded to tell me I was ‘beautiful’ and because of that, I should get over it, basically.
I have also left numerous times feeling I still had questions regarding my concern, and that the doctor had not listened to me or looked into my concerns properly.
This is the only surgery where I’ve felt like a nuisance to the doctors, or left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable.

Rubbish surgery, I've been sat in this waiting room for an hour and 40; minutes and counting. In agony. Don't come here, you will die of old age before you see the doctor.

Shame it takes 3 week to get an appointment, and the waiting times are absurd. There needs to be a better system in place for when the Doctor is running behind, eg communication with patients, prior to attending- in turn waiting room gets full, and full of fed up patients, when they could of been notified prior that Surgery is running late. I have thought several times in changing my surgery but have stuck it out.

Big respect to Dr Gopi though, he has been very supportive with my Mental health.

Mrs Mikhail... please look at your appointment and waiting times, it's seriously letting your Surgery down. 😔
