I was referred here by a friend after a nightmare of a consultation with another orthodontist. I was told I would need to have 4 of my teeth taken out and spend 2.5 years with braces to close the gaps because of severe overcrowding and receded gums, and spend £4900.00 for treatment. Lecia at lyndhurst disagreed as my teeth were not actually that crowded and gums are fine, and taking out 4 teeth would have ruined my facial profile/shape. She recommended the Damon braces which I would not need to lose teeth for, don't stain, take less time (about 1 year instead of 2.5), are less painful, need less adjustments, and provide a wider smile with a better facial outcome (especially as I'm mid 30s) for nearly £2000 cheaper than what I was quoted previously. I'm about 6 months in and my teeth are already nearly perfect. Lecia is lovely as are a the staff at lyndhurst. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
