As a very keen walker I started to suffer bad foot pain which stopped me walking almost completely. I saw my GP & NHS physio then a private sports physio and also a private podiatrist. I also tried orthotics in my shoes - nothing worked for 3 months. I was getting very frustrated.
I went to see Lucy and the results have amazed me. I had 4 weekly sessions of acupuncture and am 100% back to normal - the pain has gone.
Lucy has a very professional and caring approach - she takes time to really understand the problem and treat it accordingly in a holistic way. The needles are not painful, I actually grew to like the sensation and Lucy always ensures you are comfortable at all times.
I am a believer in holistic therapies but the results with Lucy amazed me - I would recommend 100%.

*Update* 9 months later: After a serious and worrying diagnosis I went to lucy for nutritional advice. She was able to guide me through extensive testing and really helped me understand what was happening in my body. Lucy is very knowledgeable & well qualified, with a friendly and empathetic approach which explained the science in an easy to understand way. She offered practical advice and I feel motivated and positive going forward. My health has really improved and I feel so much more in control and now understand how my diet and lifestyle influence everything to do with wellbeing.

I started experiencing siatic pain, so I did a google search for acupuncturists near me. Painkillers were not helping.
Lucy was one of many accounts that came up, and as fate would have it, I called for a consultation. She responded very quickly, and before i knew it, i was able to book and attend my first ever acupuncture appointment back in February 2022.
I was expecting a painful experience with needles everywhere, but thought it couldn't be worse than the pain I was already having. I was pleasantly surprised. Lucy was so professional, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about her work. She was also able to recommend things that i could do in addition to acupuncture treatments to aid my healing. My siatic pain was completely gone after a couple of treatments. I kept booking appointments with Lucy to treat female hormonal issues and I have seen great improvements. I can confidently say that I would absolutely recommend Lucy for anyone who isn't sure about acupuncture. You will not regret it.

I began seeing Lucy about 8 months after having surgery, which confirmed I had grade 4 endometriosis. The surgery unfortunately offered little relief from symptoms, and I continued living with chronic pain and fertility struggles. Other than further surgery or hormone therapy (not great whilst TTC!) I felt I had exhausted all my options.

I began research into natural strategies to manage my condition, but found it hugely overwhelming and seemingly unachievable. I turned to Lucy to begin with acupuncture, however her knowledge in female health and endo far exceeded my expectations, and her guidance and support has proven invaluable.

Combining both acupuncture with nutritional therapy, which has been informed by functional testing, I have felt a vast improvement in my physical symptoms - significantly less pain and regular, more manageable menstrual cycles.

I know I still have some way to go, but Lucy provides actionable next steps, which helps me feel in control, and I intend to continue working with her for a happier, healthier me, hopefully into pregnancy and beyond!
