I and my family have been patients of this surgery for about 19 years and can honestly say they have been consistently thorough, kind and understanding. They have always made sure that any concern is investigated and followed up consistently. I've always managed to get an appointment , and the triage system is better now that we don't have to ring on the day. I have recently been and the doctor was so lovely and took the time to check there was nothing else I was worried about. I would thoroughly recommend this surgery. I don't know where we'd be without them.

I know things are not easy for the NHS at the moment, with constant demands from people. I don't have to use the surgery often but over the last few months I have needed help for not only myself but my daughter. I have logged everything via triage, whether it's an admin request or appointment request. Yes, I have had to wait nearly 3 weeks for an appointment for myself, but it wasn't urgent. I can't thank Dr Patel enough for all her help for both of us. Once I had my phone appointment, I was seen on the day and Dr Patel was absolutely thorough with tests and discussion and referrals, I can't express how appreciative I was to have such an amazing Dr. She has also helped with my daughter and has been so proactive with getting updates about my daughter. Dr Patel and the admin team have been really great helping us. It has been a relief getting the help, time and understanding on issues that aren't urgent but have needed a consultation and referrals.

Awful service. Tried to call twice today, second time I was 3rd in the queue when my call started and 55 minutes later I’d moved to number 1 and then no one answered. I need to reschedule my cervical screening because my daughter has chicken pox and this screening is the first one after having cells removed so it’s very important. I’ve emailed them and had no reply, and tried twice on the phone to get through. They must just not be answering the phone as there is no way I can be 3rd in the queue and not get spoken to for well over an hour. There was no way I could re-schedule the appointment online as I’ve looked everywhere and tried to do so. Abysmal service and I really would go elsewhere if there was anything else in the village. Really, really appalled, didn’t even want to give 1 star!

Just spent 40 minutes waiting to speak to someone. Only to be put on the phone to an extremely rude young woman who interrupted me from the get go, had an attitude for no reason. I was only trying to find out why my triages weren’t being replied too but she kept insisting it was because I was contacting the wrong doctors (I wasn’t as I had proof from the lower Stondon surgery) Then when I questioned her on this she continued to speak to me in a rude tone and hung up the phone as soon as I asked for her name. How you can think it’s acceptable to speak to anyone like this who is just seeking help is beyond me. I genuinely hope this woman loses her job because she has absolutely no customer service skills & shouldn’t be working for the NHS.

Lower Stondon Surgery is a disgrace! I have been refused a Drs appointment after an entire week of following their ridiculous procedures & told to go to the pharmacist which resulted in the pharmacist having to write a note saying I have an infection & he cannot treat me as antibiotics is required!
The staff are unqualified, rude & the responses they give you are nonsensical.
I am gobsmacked that the surgery is still running as it should be closed. Diabolical service all round!
I am making a formal complaint & moving GPs immediately!

Here we see what happens to a practice when husband and wife doctors hand the administration of their practice to their daughter.
No one questions the ruling trio within the practice. A patient who questions the administration soon finds themselves lied about and removed from the practice patient list.

Just look at the reviews. Even with friends and family leaving rave reviews, as is inevitable with reviews, still only 2 stars. 70% are the lowest possible, one star.

They will lie about you too, did I mention that? They come at you with passive aggression and bad allogations and if you dare question them or, God forbid, wave away their lies you will be accused of being the aggressor.

The waving of arms will not be tolerated eh Katherine? Still awaiting video evidence which you told me you had. Which I knew you could not.

due for a opp on the 6th march need injections 4 days before the opp cant do it myself terrified of needles cant get past the receptionist to get this done so on monday i will cancel the opp thanks to your receptionist she was so so rude

People are quick to say negative things about the surgery but I called into the surgery this morning and was greeted by 2 lovely polite and helpful receptionists and my queries resolved. Keep up the good work.
