If you are mid to late 30’s and concerned about perimenopause and want to be taken seriously, I would personally think twice about using the LHC. It’s only through gaining much more personal knowledge about peri and now going through another private clinic and finally being taken seriously, it’s cemented how I feel about the LHC. They have some rather outdated views and ideas about peri. Used one “snap shot” day of bloods and was told I wasn’t peri, despite going armed with a huge list of peri symptoms and very clear correlations between my symptoms and my cycle. This was also despite the fact, blood tests AREN’T a reliable indicator of peri. So I was “appeased” and sent away with some progesterone.

Despite numerous emails asking for clarification and raising concerns, nothing was ever really properly addressed. Their overall approach to client satisfaction was questionable at best. You’d send an email for the attention of the Dr, it was like Russian roulette, sometimes it was passed on and sometimes it wasn’t. And if it was, there were huge delays in anyone ever getting back to you, if at all.

Wish I’d just gone with my now clinic in the first place. Would have saved a lot of wasted money and time. Beyond disappointed but glad to finally be listened to and taken seriously, just not at the LHC sadly.

The expertise and care shown by Dr Toledano and her team is outstanding. Helping a woman through her menopause is not just prescribing a generic HRT treatment regimen. Each woman has her own unique requirements which needs careful assessment and monitoring. After a number of years on the wrong HRT regimen, going to the LHC made a profound difference to my everyday life.

I had a great experience here. I was only in London for a week and they arranged a blood test, appointment, and delivery of medications all within this time, going out of their way to call the pharmacies and ensure it on my behalf.

Dr. Issa is absolutely amazing, I have a science/medical background and she is whip smart and very on top of the latest information. I've never had a medical doctor spend the kind of time and attention with me that she did. I live a weird lifestyle and she was immediately able to understand the impacts. I don't usually use western medicine, and she was absolutely aware of in one top of the alternative, nutritional, herbal, and complimentary solutions and helped me create a plan that included them alongside hormones.

Noting reviews below - I think there is a misunderstanding. I also was told I'm not in perimenopause but was also told that it fluctuates and a one-off blood test wouldn't necessarily show it. Also, I was told that most women have symptoms even before they are "technically" in perimenopause. All of the symptoms I explained were affirmed, empathized with, and addressed.

Would highly recommend LHC and especially Dr. Issa.

The service and care provided by the doctors and the Clinic is without a doubt some of the best I have experienced in the UK. From the receptionist to my doctor everyone was very patient, supportive and caring, answering and addressing my many questions. Worth every penny.

Really poor experience dealing with this clinic. Had to phone multiple times to try and book an appointment which didn’t eventually happen. Each time the staff gave me different information. I eventually sent them a copy of my bloods to which I was promised a response back on the same day but nothing came through. I phoned back two days later to be told they’ve not had a clinic doctor onsite for the last month so there’s no way they could have come back to me for an appointment implying I was making this up! Very bizarre responses from the staff who just came across unknowledgeable and therefore annoying!
I had to email them three times before they confirmed deleting my data. Not sure they follow their data protection rules properly. For the amount they charge there are better, more professional options…
The clinic knew I was irritated by their poor and rude service yet they’ve shown no proper customer service procedures at all. Don’t recommend at all!

It would be no exaggeration to say that the treatment I received through the London Hormone Clinic has dramatically transformed my quality of life. I came to the clinic suffering from an unusual, “reverse-PMDD”-style mood disorder, in which all weeks of each month with the exception of the luteal phase brought on severe psychological symptoms. At the time when I found LHC I was running dangerously low on options; the likely next step, if hormonal treatment had not worked, would have been to commit myself as an inpatient. I can say now that it worked above and beyond anything I had dared to hope for.
The medical staff here are changing lives - so evidently on the cutting-edge of the latest research in a, sadly, still too-little-understood field. The doctor I worked with at the clinic, Dr Georgina Leslie, was exceptionally warm and highly knowledgeable, and demonstrated a flexibility and a person-before-procedure approach that I appreciated enormously. The natural progesterone (a crucial detail; a synthetic form I had tried previously turned out to be a serious misfire) that the clinic prescribed for me eradicated my symptoms within a week and continues to work flawlessly six months later. For every woman out there desperate for answers - as I had been before finding the LHC - I hope that I can reassure you that a full recovery IS possible. There’s always a chance that the next step that you take could change everything.

I had an outstanding experience at the hormone clinic. The doctor was attentive, the staff was polite and friendly, and the doctor gave me a comprehensive explanation of my health and hormones. I received the necessary treatment straight away and was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned about my health in such a short time. The clinic itself is beautiful, with a cute decor and welcoming staff and doctors.

Attending the LHC has been a game changer for me. Yes it is expensive but the health benefits I have received in 6 months, have been life changing. All the staff are professional, helpful and the Dr's know what they are doing and select the correct treatment path for each individual. You can't put a price on your health and if you have to cut back elsewhere to seek treatment do it you will not regret it
