Rude reception staff.
Call at 8 and don’t get through until 40+ minutes later with no appointments to offer, - raised a verbal complaint to “reception manager” who was also rude.!!

The doctors I've met are nice and follow up through.

However, the front desk staff from yesterday 13/09/2023, I wish I got his name was not nice at his job and does not know when to escalate.
It will be helpful if the front desk staff are also compliant and have a little knowledge of how medical system works.

On phone, he already closed the door to my result inquiry without even checking the identity, I insisted before he asked about DOB.

I offered more time should he need to get more information and get back to me. He refused and reiterated he has thousands of patients and asked am I the only patient they have. I was very upset I then had to leave my workplace and got to the surgery in person.

Thanks to the doctor who calmed the situation. However did not want to hold the front desk accountable to admit his mistake nor for him to apologise. She rather be cunning about it in a private room. Very well for duty of candour and patient centered care.

It was traumatic for me to have had to push so hard.

All staff at this surgery have always been courteous and helpful given the difficult time the nhs are experiencing at the moment. Special thankyou to Amelia who always tries her hardest to help as much as she can and is always so pleasant.

My family have been with this practice over the year now. However, the quality of customer service is continually getting worse especially via phone. It is just terrible!. To get in touch with someone You need to spend more than an hour, just sitting on the phone (not a joke). If You are fortunate enough, then maybe your problem is going to be solved. However, if you aren't fortunate enough you can get surprised. The surprise would be when you are calling the GP to arrange an appointment, for example, and spending an hour from your life in line, suddenly the system can just disconnect You. Guess what You need to next, so then You again need to call them and start your ''exciting journey''. Perhaps on the second try, You won't be disconnected, but who knows.

Conclusion:
If You are looking for a new surgery and You have plenty of spare time and nerve cells. Then I would recommend this one.

BUT

If You are a normal busy person who values your nerve cells, then I will give You a tip, do not even consider this GP for yourself.

Ok, after trying for few good months to book an appointment because of my severe stomach pain, as a student it's impossible to book an appointment because of my timetable. You are waiting too long for the robot to finish his marvelous speech of covid. Also, I remember that I called at 7:59 and 8:00 but no one answered, I called at 08:10 again, no one answered and then I called at 8:30 and the appointments were already booked. For sure I will change the GP because having a system that you are not allowed to book an appointment the following days, in my opinion it's very unprofessional.
