My 2-year old dog, Sidney, and I have been regular visitors to the canine hydrotherapy unit at Lifeworks by Rio over the past 9 months. We were referred there by our vet with a view to stabilising Sidney's knee problem in his back leg, and Victoria has worked tirelessly during this time to perform physiotherapy to successfully ease his condition. She is professional, knowledgeable and dedicated, and the fun and friendly way she deals with Sidney means he absolutely loves coming for his monthly sessions. I have no hesitation in recommending Victoria at Lifeworks to anyone seeking physiotherapy and hydrotherapy treatment for their pet.

Watson has LOVED learning to swim at Lifeworks and his confidence in the water has improved significantly with every session. I always 'assumed' dogs were natural swimmers, but that is definitely not true of Watson!! Lifeworks is a great place to visit with super friendly and professional staff. The coffee is good too! 🙂

Started taking my spaniel here at the end of August due to his poor posture and already I’ve noticed a massive improvement! He’s always struggled with endurance on longer walks and I’ve always assumed it was down to the way he walks (all hunched up) and just the other day we took him on a long hilly hike with no issues this time (definitely exhausted but not grunting in pain as he usually does when we get home). Cannot speak highly enough of the physios and Chewie highly recommends the primula cheese platter served when he’s in the water treadmill 😁
Really knowledgeable and friendly team that my dog is excited to see week after week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lifeworks by Rio is a great find for my competing agility dogs Twix and Dash. Great venue in a good location with the added benefit of a lovely riverside walk on site. Vicky has extensive knowledge and is currently working on improving my dogs fitness and stamina which benefits their agility career. As a professional dog trainer and agility instructor I highly recommend using Lifeworks by Rio for all your dogs swim needs.

Fantastic service, my little dog gets super excited to go to swimming lessons! Victoria is just wonderful. Facilities are outstanding and everyone is so friendly and helpful. We love our swimming sessions!

This is a super place run by personable, professional and qualified people. Spotlessly clean everywhere, especially the water. My dog had a fantastic time and benefitted greatly from the hour in the pool with Victoria. Great coffee. Dog smelled nice after their shampoo treatment. Entrance is round the left hand site of main reception. Big gates lead to car park.

Fudge and Maple had there first swim, and what great swimmers they are, who knew!?!?Vic is great with them, encouraging and reasuring. Fudge was a little lazy with his back left leg, a gentle touch was all he needed to use that one as well. All staff were incredibly friendly and we had a lovely coffee, whilst watching, bonus🤩

My dog was very unsure about water but after a few minutes she really took to it . Her hips are now far stronger and she is doing very well. I wanted her to he able to join my family paddle boarding and she now can. Many thanks all at Rio
