The receptionists are awful. They refused to give me an appointment just because my skin issue had been present for over a month, despite me explaining that the pain only started last night. They insisted it wasn't urgent enough. When I called 111, they were just as puzzled as I was. It's clear the receptionists show favoritism—my white friend and her mother always receive polite treatment. It's incredibly frustrating, especially since I’m prone to illness, yet they make it difficult for me to see a doctor. And when I finally do, they treat me rudely. It really feels like they prioritise certain patients over others.

If I could I would give a 0 and it’s all because of the receptionist fault, been at the GP for all my life and it’s gotten worse throughout the years, they never seem to have appointments at 8 o clock in the morning and today I managed to get through the phone (which is incredible rare) and was told to call 111 or go to the pharmacist? I’m actually baffled and confused at how and why they’re making this judgement call when I need to see my DOCTOR and not the receptionist. They are causing the community in Longsight/levenshulme more pain than care. 111 will say go to ED which is for more urgent patients. Can’t even see a doctor anymore with the NHS, I work for the NHS myself so I know how hard it is, but this is appalling and the GP receptionist is rude and horrible to speak to, they seem to only have the one/two receptionist that have been there for almost 2 decades. Grown old and bitter. This is a joke.

This review is for Dr. Ben Addelstone, my adult daughter has been under his care for just over eighteen months. When we first came my girl was in a dreadful state and really needed someone to listen to her and help her get a diagnosis. Dr Addelstone was fantastic, he was kind, and got on the case with referrals straight away, made us feel heard and important! Later when her mental health started to take its toll he was open and proactive. We now have a diagnosis and financial support, and without his dedication she would not be in as good a condition as she is today. Even tho she’s not better yet, he’s helped her to have a better quality of life. As a parent who doesn’t live in the same city I am so grateful for his time, understanding and professionalism. This is a doctor who makes people’s lives better.
Thank you so much.

I’ve only had positive experiences! The receptionists have been empathetic and managed to get me an urgent appointment. The GP I spoke to was kind, patient and reassuring

The phone number that never goes through... 36 called ... The health centre should get the worst award of the year ?. Absolutely shocking! The receptionist completely rude and give you half of the information without listening to what patient is saying. This health centre needs an urgent revamp or suck all the receptionist. Extremely frustrated!!!

We have waited for an appointment nearly 2 years, and then we were informed by letter that they have discharged us.
No message, no call or even send us a letter to inform us about the appointment.
Lisa must take some responsibilities the role she took upon and if not then stand down from the position. Many people issued negative reviews, and she still dont think our facts matter.
Instead of taking hours of writing letter for discharge, lisa should have found 1 mint to call or message.
If your not happy just report to Pals, NHS complaint or revoew, CQC.

Don't go here if you need your stitches removed. The incompetent staff will ask you to keep coming back because they cannot remove stitches properly .They tried again and failed during my second appointment. When I went back for my third appointment they said sorry the stitches have healed over and you will have to go back to hospital. I could have done a better job myself if the stitches weren't at the back of my neck.

Terrible!!!

Its been 3 weeks now i have been trying to get an appointment for my 3 year old.Every morning i start calling calling from 8 am-9 am (the time that is given by the lying receptionists to make appointments),this is the 6th time in 3 weeks i have been refused an appointment by the lying specialists(receptionist) first saying one doctor has called in sick then that changed to 2 doctors called in sick, apparently,no more appointments left. The lying receptionists tell me to call between 8 am-9 am but after a long wait i get told no appointments with some ridiculous excuses everytime. The manager is rude aswel as the receptionists they just hang up the phone if they dont like the tone of your voice. The big nurse Jenni ,i think she is an admin as well , she is the most horrible, arrogant rude person i have come across,i dont know how she got the job as a nurse!she criticised me for my health condition right in my face .Also, she doesnt want to give you a choice of whether you could vaccinate your child or not,if you dont listen to her and refuse one vaccine then she will refuse to give other vaccines by saying "its either this or we cant give the others" also, she will say we cant give you another appointment as there is no more appointment available...(are you kidding me there is no appointmentsthrough out the whole year!)
THIS PLACE IS A MESS, THERE IS NO CHANCE OF SEEING A DOCTOR OR EVEN GETTING A CALL BACK BECAUSE THE UNPROFESSIONAL RECEPTIONISTS DECIDE NOT TO GIVE YOU AN APPOINTMENT.
