This is an excellent dental practice. You are made to feel in safe hands and immediately reassured by staff competence and approach. Paying for treatment can often make you wary, however that's not the case in this practice. I had invisalign and dental treatment work done at a lower cost to other practices that I had consultation with, and felt it was overall a more fair, positive service and experience. The communication style of all staff within the practice suggests folk are happy at their work despite being so busy, and certainly you feel respected and valued.

Always amazing service from the team.
Everything is explained to you before treatment begins so you can make an informed decision. They also explain the most cost efficient treatments for you to decide what is best for you! Amazing.

Best dental practice I’ve been to and I will 100% never leave. I’m nervous going to the dentist and I always leave wondering why I was nervous to start with. Myself and my two kids have Rebecca as our dentist and she is honestly the best. Every time we visit she always remembers how nervous myself and my daughter can be and always puts our minds at ease. Also the ladies on reception always remember your name and are so friendly and always willing to help. Would recommend this practice to everyone.

I totally recommend this practice to anybody who is in need of a dentist.
Having suffered three nights of toothache and then made numerous attempts to find a dentist who were able to take new patients, I found Levengrove online and made a call.
From a phone call at 10am to a complex tooth extraction at 12.20pm, to being pain free by 3.30pm. The confident, professional approach by the team, made me feel at my ease throughout, in what may have otherwise have been a stressful experience.
Outstanding! Thank you.

Recently finished getting my work done by Rebecca having wanted my teeth done for a long time she came up with a clear plan and
advised me financially what the best options would be, after getting an implant to replace an old bridge I had new veneers to replace crowns aswell as fixing up worn and chipped teeth and whitening to match, she has literally transformed my mouth with the new look, she is clear, calm, realistic and patient would fully recommend her and grateful for the work she's put in and the attention to detail and dedication she has shown.

I saw Hannah Russell recently for an emergency. Fabulous! Did not feel a thing and repair is unnoticeable. Wouldn't go anywhere else, excellent job!

They seem to have an issue with boundaries.
The dentist I saw was very soft spoken and, aside from the boundaries issues, I would have loved going here.

However:
I started the appointment saying that I have had really bad experiences with dentists and I was only there because a doctor had referred me due to jaw issues. I explained that I didn't want a teeth checkup and, I quote, "ignorance is bliss". The dentist seemed understanding and receptive.

However:
They have a dental chart off of me and they even took two x-rays without informing me I'd be charged.
I also was given no protection during the x-ray, I'm not sure if this is standard in Scotland, but I'm used to an apron/eye coverings.

I wasn't told what the checkup and xrays were for and I'd assumed they were part of the jaw evaluation - upon seeing the x-ray I saw that they were checking for cavities and they recommended I book a cleaning.

I didn't agree beforehand to pay anything and yet they took money for x-rays that no informed consent was given for.
I didn't agree to having a dental chart taken and I didn't want advice on if I needed cleaning.

I was trying to get help for a jaw issue and if it went well I was planning on rebooking. The reviews for this place are great so I thought I'd be safe there, but instead I left wanting to cry.

If you don't have issues with dentists doing as they please this place seems great, if you have a few trust issues this might be a place to pass on.

Editing in to respond to the commentary below:
None of that was explained to me. My right to refuse was not explained nor that they would be charging me money.
Communication is required for informed consent. I can't refuse or consent to things that aren't explained first.
As far as I'm concerned their response doubles down on my point. It sounds like a reasonable response if that was explained to me at the time but it wasn't and so the response feels dismissive and more like damage/reputation control to others than providing care.

Final update I suppose?:
Just got a letter stating "As a result of your concerns which have been posted on a public forum, I feel there has been a breakdown of trust. We shall therefore not be able to provide further treatment for you at this practice."
I received no invitation to talk to them about what went wrong. The only contact I received from them post-appointmnet, other than what can be seen here, is the letter kicking me out of their practice. It is worth noting that I was only incredibly polite in the clinic so they aren't kicking me out for being unruly - I'm kicked out evidently for leaving a negative review.
