Currently been attending Lanceburn throughout my pregnancy and they’ve been so helpful. Reception staff and midwives are really friendly and the midwives are great at answering any questions I’ve had. I have problems with finding a vein when giving blood samples and they’ve always been so patient with me and managed to find a vein in the end. Really recommend this clinic!

Nice members of staff but testing and gettin results back in a timely matter is shocking… currently on the phone for an hour waiting for somone to answer the phone…. And this isn’t the first time this has happened to me either. I’ve had results lost and appointments being rescheduled without notice.

Had such a good appointment with nurse Valerie. She and everyone at reception were knowledgeable and super helpful. I especially appreciate the gentleness and kindness in nurse Val to make sure I was feeling calm throughout. Would recommend this medical centre.

Just 2 things to note, the confirmation sms that I received had no reply function so was difficult to confirm my attendance. This meant I had to call in, which is the other thing. You have to call multiple times in order to get through.
But everything else I am very happy with!

33 minutes on hold, nobody answered the phone, literally gave up, first 1 min 15 was useless 'try our website' stuff which is no good as it only talked about next day appointments. Then after 32 minutes of listening to the recorded rubbish I gave up. In the past they had a ringing phone, I never waited more than 1 minute for that to be answered. I'm guessing now you're just a blinking light instead, much easier to ignore. Totally disrespecting all callers seems to be the way now I guess. If people are ringing it's because they need some help, not answering could mean people not sorting medical problems meaning they get worse or become too serious or untreatable. This really is not acceptable. Anytime I've been in here the place is like a ghost town so I don't believe for a second that they're too busy for half an hour!

The staff were lovely when I went in no quarrel there at all but the clinic is impossible to contact... No email and phone seemingly doesn't work..?
Got one voicemail saying to ring in regarding what I went in about and either line busy or rings and rings until it hangs up.

Been in work for the past week so unable to go in physically. Just going to need to go to another clinic to get what I need..

If I could put 0 stars I would have.
I had my consultation to get the coil fitted yesterday. The women I spoke to told me that it was 'completely unacceptable' that I am not currently on contraception.

I asked about the timing of having the coil in before I could take it out (in case I wanted to try for a baby), and was told they would accept a minimum of 12 months before even considering they would take the coil out of me.

I thought the consultation was to explain my different options with the coil, but I was told to do my own research- Of course I am going to, but I didn't get an explanation of the difference of a hormonal/ non-hormonal coil.

She was asking me to make promises before the appointment.

It was completely inappropriate and has made me feel embarrassed. If it is you first time getting a contraception method other than the pill I would not recommend. I was made to feel shamed by her, when the reason I was having this consultation was for me to get on to contraception.
