La Cura House Care Home

6months like 6years .La cura house environment is upbeat and joyous when I walk in I feel very warm and content.The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing the smiles on the residents knowing you are the reason they have just smiled The management and staffs are very fantastic.A place where colour means nothing,we are one big family and team. The person centered care is so top notch

My Mum spent four weeks respite here followed by five weeks as a permanent resident. Mum sadly recently passed away. I was impressed with the high standard of care and cleanliness. This care home has improved immensely in recent years, no doubt due to the high standards set by the manager. Thanks go to the team who looked after my Mum and kept her safe and happy while resident here.

Individually, the majority of staff are lovely people who care and do what they can for the residents. Sadly you only need one or two bad apples - and a senior manager intent on protecting the care home's reputation - to result in serious, life-threatening negligence and cover-ups even when concerns are repeatedly voiced. If you have relatives resident here I urge you to move them elsewhere as soon as you possible can.

As an agency nurse I loved this care home. Excellent care provided and staff very helpful. The manager is very helpful and supportive to her staff.
