Despite what's happening to the NHS, the GPs here are absolutely fantastic. Go above and beyond and even though they are over worked they still greet you with care and kindness. It's not the GPs fault waiting times are so long...blame the government. As far as the surgery goes...everyone does their job as efficiently as possible and deserves good recognition for that. I highly recommend GPs there and I always will do. Thank you for not treating me and my kids as a number and for always doing your best.

Absolutely terrible service you can just imagine. It feels like the clinic is working against people. Constantly ignores all symptoms. They cannot be called doctors.

Excellent team, doctors, nurses and any other support staff. I am aware of the pressure from the community and how it stretches their staff and resources.
I have enjoyed friendly contact fairly frequently and been treated very ably and professionally as I have several ongoing issues.
I hope this restores faith in the practice! Help them by giving support !

A four week wait - AGAIN!!! And that is only for a telephone call. Is every single person in Kirkbymoorside constantly ill? I can't see any other reason for such long waiting times. Very poor. It's about time the whole GP system was scrapped and replaced with something that actually puts patients first.

The current management clearly lacks proficiency and vision. Don't bother trying to get an appointment, you'll need to be dying or very near, and at that point you'll be diverted to Hospital anyway.

Apparently, a phone diagnoses is enough to determine just about any ailment you may have, and rest assured that if you should require anti-biotics for an infection or even just as a placebo, you'll be happy in the knowledge that they are now handed out like candy to children - so much for reducing dependency on them!

To one and all I say: fear not, for all this nonsense will eventually pass, and, with any luck, the GP's will recover from Covid brain fog and start acting like the GP's we once knew and respected.

That's if they ever stop cowering under their desks.

On every occasion I have had to go to the surgery in the last 9 years they have been utterly professional and exceptional in their treatment of my various ailments.
I mainly use Dr Lodge who I love and adore but have also been to most of the other Doctors and as I said the level of care is all on a par.
I would have no trouble recommending this practice to anyone.
The reception staff are also great and not at all snooty!

Cant get an appointment for over 3 weeks then I get a reminder for a appointment I've already had I walked in to reception once with a bad infection and was told I needed a tetanus and antibiotics after SHE read my notes but there was nobody to see me went to malton didnt need a tetanus what's happened to our lovely surgery

You're supposed to have Doctor/patient confidentiality. So when you confide in the Doctor about your mental health and they ring the police, that's a confidentiality breach. well done
