If I could give this surgery a 0 I would!!!!

Wow the receptionist staff every single one of them I think there is 2 males and 2 females all of them I have spoken to are incredibly rude and unhelpful. They sound like robots they have been drilled to use this lack of empathy respect and communication with patients... Their lack of professionalism is disgraceful.
They always say there is no appointments released. What surgery does that? You call any other surgery you can get a routine appointment booked in for 8 weeks down the line!! Not here!! Kingsway Medical Practice makes it nearly impossible to have a face-to-face consultation with a doctor even a telephone appointment. Call 111 they have some appointments with our surgery. What is this The receptionists consistently provide evasive answers and display an unhelpful tone of voice. When you go into the surgery their fiddling with their fingernails biting their nails yesterday I literally saw a male receptionist doing this as he was on the phone his whole impression was “oh well it doesn’t bother me” not the first time every single time. This surgery operates in such a weird way compared to others I have been to. What is the point in the Kingsway medical online system when again we can’t book our own appointments?

Been with this surgery since I was a child, friends have always swapped surgeries but I have never left because it feels comfortable and familiar. Dr Alexander was there when I was small, most glamorous Dr ever, I always wanted to copy her and Dr Kaye who I also remember as a child, when I grew up I went to him with an issue and I will never forget that appointment. He told me to live in the moment and we all feel not so great at times. He also recommended a book and gave me great guidance and since then ive lived in the moment. My friend said change GP's and I said nope because I'm loyal to kingsway medical. Miss the old GP's but attending the surgery makes me feel reassured.

I try not to abuse the system and only ask for an appointment when I really need one. I'm so proud to be mancunian and fond memories with the G'Ps from when I was a child.

Me and my two children will remain with them for life. Thank you for being so great to us.

P.s My body NOT my choice. I was made to terminate by a very abusive ex partner and i had no guidance around me at the time. The people at the time didn't give me many options. I was a young teenager who needed support so I could keep my child safe. I live in Heaton Mersey (Stockport) and people are after me and my children because of this, i am deeply remorseful and want to adopt a baby girl to compensate for this. My medical records have been leaked by i don't know who and I have a huge hate campaign against me. 9/10/24

I’ve been registered with this GP for last 17 years and 3 months . I never have any issues. I spoke to absolutely lovely receptionists this morning ; I am busy working single mum and 3 kids and juggling their appointments with GP is very very difficult. Lovely lady at reception put my query for my both children for duty doctor of the day and I got reply from them within minutes . Doctor Ye (& admin staff) both were amazing in getting me and my children right help straight away . Not only doctor Ye, but doctor whitehead ; Dr Kaye; all the practice nurses , they all been brilliant and listen to me. I got listened to almost immediately. I didn’t have to wait ages . I think new doctor on Call system and doctor triaging patient’s requests is amazing. I trust my GPs . I wish I could rate them as 5millions stars. You’re doing amazing job and keep it going. You’re inspiring.

I have had a lot of contact with the surgery lately due to being quite poorly and would like to thank all the staff especially Dr Ali and the reception staff who have been so helpful. Really appreciate such a fantastic service in such difficult times for the NHS.

The appointment system has improved immensely and I have been able to speak to a doctor same day whenever I have needed to, with face to face appointments then offered where needed that don't seem to be running to far behind.
Not sure how good they are with managing chronic or complex issues.
The phone system could still be improved and the waiting room seems to be in permanent darkness. The doors only open at exactly 8.30 - even if you have an 8.30 appointment.

I have had nothing but positive encounters with Kingsway in the 11 years I have been with them, not just in regards to myself, but my children too - thankfully its not many times I've had to do it but if any of them have been in A&E for whatever reason, I have a call the day after to see how they are. Most recently I had a little bit of a worry so emailed my GP and within 15 hours I was in the practice being seen to, and a prescription provided. They always get back to me within a more than reasonable time frame. All staff are extremely helpful.

Requested medical records and everything that goes with them nearly 7 months ago...Whenever I have called to chase I keep getting the same excuses...Either someone is off sick, on holiday or reception don't put you through or they claim staffing issues...Do the GP partners actually know what is going on...It is not the patients responsibility to ensure sufficient staffing so stop giving it as an excuse...I requested a call from the practice manager almost 3 weeks ago and nothing...Was told the Reception manager would ring but she went home without even bothering...Had to speak to a GP eventually and its not their job...The admin and management side of this practice is appalling...Should have put it in a solicitors hands to begin with because as a patient you have no chance at all...Maybe the partners should have a look at how bad their reviews are and do something about it

Had to leave futher review elsewhere of one GP committing a crime by falsifying medical records and one GP who has kindly confirmed her NEGLIGENCE in a text message...

And still no contact re complaints from the supposed Practice Manager who is never there or available

This practice is why my health has plummeted in the 12 months. GP lies on my medical record and the practice manager does nothing. GP refuses to help only 6 months later acknowledges I have a problem and decides to help. GP arranges a phone consultation with an appointment that I would need a time machine. Gives me a date and time that was 8 hours earlier. Called reception to let them know the GP has failed to do her job properly and I was told they would let her know. 9 days later and she still hasn't rectified her mistake and she still hasn't sent me a correct appointment.

Tried to complain to the office supervisor, Jane Winstanley, but as always she does nothing and all the while my health is getting worse and worse and I only have 111 to turn to as this GP surgery is going to be the reason my life is much shorter than it should be. She also added that "I wish you'd just leave". I was amazed she was even there considering the amount of excuses reception give as to why she's not there.

I'd mention all the other times they have completely failed me as a patient but it would just get ridiculous.

Absolute joke of a practice. Completely failed by at least 3 different GPs and one queried on a referal whether I might have a medical condition I was diagnosed with almost 16 years ago. Refers me to a clinic I am already a patient of and the office supervisor, Jane Winstanley, thinks there is nothing wrong with that. She also thinks falsification of, or misleading information on a patients medical records isn't a big deal, does virtually next to no investigation whatsoever and the tells me matter closed, no escalation....

If you value your health stay as far away from them....

I had been registered with you, and now I have changed my GP. Ohhh, I can understand how a GP can be helpful now , kings way medical practice was wasting time.
